Sabrina leaned against the door as soon as she made into her apartment. Her heart was beating fast and she was out of breath.
How could she ever think that there could be something between David and her? Why was she so dumb to even think that way? David deserved someone better and she isn't the one he should or could be with. Not that there was something going on between them… Aside from the fact that they kissed but she had put a lot of meaning to it. It happens between people, they kiss and they call it friendship and it's no big deal.
The girl she saw outside the restaurant seemed way more his type. And to not ever consider the thought that David must have had someone in his life, she was a complete fool.
From the moment she saw them both she knew that they both know each other and something was between them. The girl without hesitation followed David when he went outside to talk to her. It seemed that they must have been in a fight but now things seemed settled when David came back. He was happy and excited than ever, it hurt Sabrina every time she thinks of her.
She foolishly accepted the idea that a guy like David could be interested in her and all this time he was just being… Friendly.
They seemed an ideal couple. She should be happy for David but instead, she was crying without realizing it.
She wipes her eyes with the back of her sleeve and pushes her tears back inside with a deep breath before walking towards her room.
