Beneath the sand

Rania walked through the lost lands of Shegen far away from Lomana the lands of the original titans, she held Kiich-ten on her arms, and she was hoping she would find someone who would be able to help her.

There are no titans in the lands of shegen, she have been walking for days and she just exhausted the last food.

She just want the child to leave. She had lost the original titans' miles away and it would be impossible to trace her.

The land was dry and covered with red soil, they were trees without leaves, the huge sunset made the sky red, and she could see a huge storm approaching her from ahead.

She taught this was going to be the end she taught, she saw a sword with markings on it, the sword had it sheath and was well designed like that of a royal.

She took the sword and went to prepare for the sand storm. The sand storm got close, Rania quickly took out her cloth and covered baby Kiich-ten, she opened the sword and pieced it to the ground opposite the sunset to reflect the light of the sun opposite the direction she was going.

She laid on the ground beside the sword and opposite the child shielding the child from the storm.The sand storm soon came and covered her, and the child.

The storm was so harsh on Rania that she began to scream. The sand storm took over the area for a long time and finally the storm left.

Rania died as the impact of the storm was too much but her shielding the child kept the baby alive. The baby cried out but there was no one there to hear the baby cry.

They were in the middle of nowhere. Princess vegian of the jegonee titans with her guards were flying towards the lost land of Shegen.

They rode on titan birds which looked like mini dragons, they were heading towards where the princess dropped her sword, they landed on the lost land of Shegen and began to search for the sword.

"The sword is with sheath, dig the ground the sand storm might have covered the sword" said princess Vegian As they were searching for the sword.

The sun light was reflecting on the armor of one of the jegonee guard, he was looking at the reflected light on his suit then he looked where the reflection was coming from, he could see something reflecting the light towards him.

Meanwhile the others were busy looking for sword."Princess the storm didn't did that, did it?" said one of the guard.

Princess vegian and the others stood up to see what he was looking at, they all saw that it was the sword but they wondered who might have removed the sheath and pinned the sword to the ground.

They taught it might be any enemy signal spot that they have been there.

"Go to the sword and search what around it, watch the ground for traps the sand storm might have covered them."

The princess said pointing to one of the guard. The guard went towards the sword slowly holding his sword out, he watched the ground till he got there.

He reached the sword, as soon as he removed the sword he heard a slight cough which came from beneath the sand, the guard moved swiftly moved and kicked the place revealing that there was somebody beneath the sand.

When the others saw his movement they entered attacking positions for they taught the enemy was hiding beneath the sand.

"We could be ambushed through the sand prepare for uplift" said the princess, The guard with the sword pushed the body buried under the sand with his leg to reveal what it was, then suddenly he heard a baby cry, the cry was indistinct because of the sand.

The guard quickly began to dig the sand to bring out the child. After much digging he saw the child still alive under the sand, the cloth used to cover the child helped keeping the child alive.

The princess looked from a distance and observed it might not be an enemy's hand work, Vegian walked towards where the guard was, to see what he had discovered.

The guards kept staring at the strange child because of the child's red hair,

"it's a child, princess" the guard said, The princess bent and opened the some part of the other body which laid dead there, vegian saw the mark on the hand of Rania, she recognize it to be a moon titan.

Rania swiftly turned with the remaining life still in her towards Vegian.

"Protect my child please, his name is kiith-ten." Rania said and suddenly she was beamed up into the sky, princess vegian held the child on her arms, she was happy she always wanted to hold a child on her hands, she loves children and would do anything to keep the child alive.

"Which other titans give birth to their offspring with colored hair like this one" said the guard close to vegian. "Blood titans, this must be the last surviving one, they are said to be special abilities.

Solerus was right my visions weren't ordinary. I saw this before, it wasn't a coincidence something wanted me to come here to see the child, my sword didn't drop by mistake.

We are taking back to the jegonee city." The princess said. The guards and the princess departed, they entered the titan birds flying towards Jegonee city.

The jegonee titans are one of the most civilized titans, they have huge cities and buildings, it is being ruled by one of the most powerful and kindest king in jegonee history, the father of Vegian and Lawrence his son.

Lawrence was still a child that time when Kiich-ten was brought, he was a year of age and he had a very wicked wife named Zean.

Vegian and the her guards arrived the city and landed close to the palace, Vegian came down taking the child straight inside.

she didn't want her father or her mother to know but unknowingly to her queen verge stood at the top observing her.

She went inside her chamber she cleaned steam bath the child and made him fresh. After a while vegian clothed the child with a royal fabric and gave him food, soon she heard a knock at her door, vegian quickly went to the door to see who it was, she opened it and saw two guards.

"What do you want?" Vegian asked. "My imperial, the king wishes to see you now" said one the guard, "I will be there" Vegian said as she was about to close the door.

"With the child" the other guard said. Princess vegian was wondering how her father got to know about it, she didn't think it might have been her guards, she knows her guards keeps secrets.

Vegian went into her chamber and carried the child with the royal fabric, she wasn't scared of anyone, she was ready to protect the child.

Princess vegian went to the throne room where she saw father, King Leo she saw her mother standing beside him, she already knows they were here to get rid of the child, her mother would always be doing her thing trying to convince the king to yield to her decisions and the king always accept her opinions.

"You brought a foreign blood into my kingdom, why would you do that vegian, you know it is a serious offence to do so." Said the king.

"And you dare cloth it with the royal material, that foreign entity is what you plan to raise because you can't bare children." The queen sounded.

"The child was lost, I saw it before his mother was beamed at the lost land of shegen, he could have died. I seeing the child wasn't ordinary.

Father you told me that everything that happen has a reason why they materialize." Said Vegian.

The king gave a grasp look around, he seemed to have realize something.

"The child must be killed, that child is a curse" the queen said.

"I hear you, verge. Vegian why didn't you just bring the child to me, you can keep the child in the palace and he is welcome to eat on my table." The king said.

The queen looked at the king in disappointment and in a striking look "what are you doing" the queen said.

"I can make decisions on my own, verge." The king said. Verge walked away from their presence with anger. Vegian was so happy she ran to hug the king, the king was actually very surprised.

vegian haven't hugged him before since her birth now that she is already twenty two of age."You must know why I agreed to keep the child, the future of Jegonee city is very dark.

I can already see its doom. It cannot be helped, the child presence will help relieve some of these dark moments.

But the end cannot be changed. When I die you and the child most leave this city, you and the child's future isn't here." The king said.

"What are you saying father?" Vegian said. She said frightened.

"Just listen and execute when the time comes, the child you carry is not an ordinary one." the king said to Vegian.

The words of the king itself were already the beginning of doom itself, now that the future of jegonee city is darkness.
