Chapter 13- One Condition

Drawing on his digital pad, Tanaka first started with some sketches of a character, a man with buff body, a mustache and a big mouth and white teeth, carrying a big sword and only wearing some pants and sandals, yes, this is a character is the barbarian, the very first character players unlocks after building their barracks in Clash of clans.

Tanaka decided to draw this character because it was the simplest one to draw, don't say skeletons or goblins are easy to draw, they have too many details, but anyway, since Tanaka already knew and memorized the character concept, he was able to draw the character in 20 minutes.

Of course, not fully coloured as that will take a lot of time, after looking at his sketch, Tanaka was satisfied with his drawing, though it isn't complete yet, it was almost the same as the one from his past life.

"Anyway, I can draw the characters then let the art club color them as I know a little bit about coloring"

Tanaka murmured, its not that he was clueless about it but his experience couldn't even be considered on par with those in the art club of his school and he didn't want to half ass his game that will earn him millions of dollars.

He was not quite sure about it but he was confident about this game, Tanaka then decided to draw a few more characters such as the Archer, The Wallbreaker, Hogrider, Pekka, and he also drew the townhall level 1.

Even if Tanaka could half-ass his drawing because of it being in Birds eye view in the game, he didn't want to as he was here to spread the games on the same quality or even better from his past life, not shame it.

And so even though drawing these took quite a lot of time, Tanaka was very satisfied with what he had made, after drawing some more characters, Tanaka stopped and looked at the time, it was almost time for dinner.

He then closed his laptop and went to join the dinner, no, he was not starting yet, he was just warming up his skills just now, the real work starts when he takes the booster that he received from the system.

He will start at midnight, after that, he will burn a lot of oil for the next few days until the 2 boosters are used.

After telling his family about him working for the next few days and may not even come out to eat, though his mother was angry about it, Tanaka still insisted and after some promises and some ultimatum from his mother.

The plan was changed a little bit as his mother will bring him food as he works, and if he doesn't eat, she will forcefully feed him like a baby, Tanaka can't negotiate with this and accepts.

And so when the clock strikes midnight, Tanaka took out the booster, the first thing that appeared on his hand is what seemed to be a gun syringe, the ones that were the same from sci-fi movies, as for the ["Unstoppable Power for My Right Hand" Booster] it was inside a small tube, the liquid inside is strangely color blue and was glowing a little.

"I remember mom saying not to put strange things in your body"

Tanaka said as he looked at the tube, the system then notified him that it was safe and no side effects, the only drawback is that after the use of the booster, he will feel weak for a few minutes, and as if it could feel that Tanaka is a little bit afraid of the needle of the syringe, it also assured him that the syringe doesn't hurt and that he won't even feel a sting.

After being assured by the system that this thing was safe, Tanaka finally injected it into his right arm, he was guided by the system and when he pressed the trigger of the syringe, the needle immediately pierced through his skin.

Tanaka felt his body froze when the needle stabbed him but he didn't feel any pain, but he could feel his right hand getting stronger and it even became numb and all feeling of it disappeared, veins started popping out from his arm and they look thick as a tree root, he could still move his right hand normally.

But this time he could feel endless power.

"If I snap my fingers will half of the universe vanish?"

He joked to himself.

"Well, its time to work"

Tanaka can still control his hand normally and it felt no different from his usual arm, his drawing speed also became faster and even more precise, it only took 5 minutes to draw a 20 minute character, this excited Tanaka, he might be able to finish 80% of the game before the booster ends.

And so in a spree, Tanaka started drawing like a maniac and didn't notice what was happening around him and focused on drawing, Tanaka only woke up from his focus after his mother barged inside him room.

Tanaka became scared and immediately hid his right hand but fortunately, his mother doesn't seem to see the veins popping out of his hands, for her, it looked quite normal, Tanaka sighed in relief, if it was seen by her, forget about working, he might be sent to the hospital for a month or more.

And so while eating breakfast, his mother asked about his progress, even though she didn't know about his work, she still wanted to keep tabs of what he was doing, so Tanaka showed the drawings he made, this surprised her as the characters looked quite amazing.

After eating breakfast that was brought to him by his mother, Tanaka continued working and his mother will bring him lunch later, Tanaka nodded and started working once again, before Tanaka started working, he looked at his completed drawings.

Tanaka didn't add anything new to the characters as he knew the characters already looked perfect but he remembered that one of the most popular things about clash of clans were the events, for example, the map will change to spooky when it was halloween, or the map will have snow and christmas tree when it was christmas.

Yes, Jesus also existed in this parallel world, kinda sad for the guy as he had the same fate even in a parallel universe but anyway, those events were important to Clash of Clans games, though the nearest event will be halloween that will come a few months later, Tanaka still had a lot of time.

"I guess, I'll start some small company to handle the game after its done"

Tanaka knew he couldn't handle the game on his own so he started planning a lot of things, though while he was planning, his hand didn't stop moving as he drew more characters.

Clash of clans has goddamn tons of characters and Tanaka had only drawn about half of them ever since he started working, soon a pile of character folders was stacked on his computer files and once Tanaka was done drawing all of the characters, including the background.

It was already lunch, after he ate his lunch, Tanaka started what he was going to do next which was animation. He will hand-animate the characters, he really doesn't have that much money to commission for a company to animate the characters for him.

Just some characters alone will even cost him a few million Yen which Tanaka clearly doesn't have, and so Tanaka started, Animation is not a very easy job, even though it looked simple, just a single movement of a character for a second, Tanaka had to draw 100 pages of the character moving slowly, this was also known as the FPS.

Not first person shooter but Frames per second, think of it as picturing a walking person then making a slideshow out of it, to make the picture like it was moving normally, the camera have to capture every little movement, yes, everything, now, in animation, you have to draw it on hand.

Of course, there are resources from the internet and the game engine but Tanaka was not satisfied with those so he took it the hard way.

By the time he drew half of it, it was already sunday morning, and Tanaka's first booster just expired and he was now lying on the bed as his body couldn't move, he wasn't feeling any pain, its just like his body was paralyzed and he couldn't move it.

"System, how many minutes do I have to stay like this?"

Tanaka asked.

[Approximately 10 minutes. Please use this time to rest for a bit]

The system reminded him, Tanaka who saw this message didn't find anything wrong with it, a 10 minute nap is a luxury for him right now, so the moment he closed his eyes, he fell asleep, later, his mother came and saw him sleeping.

She didn't bother him anymore and let him sleep, a few hours later, Tanaka woke up and he looked out the window and saw the sun was already high.

"Damn! System, why didn't you wake me up?"

Tanaka couldn't help but curse.

[The system have received no order to wake you up]

"...uhhh. Whatever, I lost a lot of time sleeping, I guess I have to extend my schedule and do it next week"

Tanaka sighed, he has school tomorrow so he won't be able to take the second booster now, so he only sighed in defeat before getting up from his bed to get something to eat.

After having some food that was left for him, Tanaka went back to his room and continued working, even though he didn't have the booster, Tanaka can still work normally, the last work he left before he fell asleep was the animation of the dragon flying and breathing fire.

This was actually quite difficult because Tanaka wanted to make the fire breath a little more better and also the dragon doesn't look like a cooked lizard anymore, Tanaka made sure it looked a little better than the original.

Of course, Tanaka also made sure that it doesn't hinder the performance of the game, though, he was lacking the art materials, Tanaka had already made the base of the game, though the characters are blank, Tanaka could still play the game as a reference and try his newly drawn characters if they work perfectly in the game.

"Hmm, the firebreath is a little too thick and doesn't seem like a fire at all, it looks like its puking fire, I need to change that"

Tanaka analyzed the game from the players perspective and even though there is no coloring, Tanaka knew how it would look like if colored so he immediately knew what to change, Tanaka continued working until night and stopped when his mother called him for dinner.

The next day, Tanaka arrived at the school carrying his laptop, he had to commission the Art Club once again but this time, their only job is coloring, maybe he could also ask the help of his friends in this so they can make it faster.

"Yo! Tanaka, how was your weekend?"

Ishigami asked with a smile.

Tanaka: "Working on the new game, finished 40% of it"

Ishigami: "What! Really? Let me see!"

Tanaka: "It's not colored yet and there are still a lot that were missing, and also the numbers have not been balanced yet."

Ishigami: "I don't mind, I just want to see what kind of game it is"

Ishigami really wanted to see it, as he was begging Tanaka, the other members of the gang also have arrived and heard their conversation and became very interested, seeing everyone was already interested, Tanaka could only sigh.

Tanaka: "Come with me to the Art Club later, I will show it to you guys in one condition"

Chika: "What condition?"

Tanaka: "You will help in coloring the characters"
