Darkness.

All Cameron can hear is his heart beating unnaturally fast.

Ba dum. Ba dum. Ba dum.

He feely dizzy and although he is lying on the ground, his head is spinning.

Kaz.

'Is Kaz okay?' Ba dum. Ba dum. Ba dum.

He slowly explores the ground with his fingertips.

Soft. Cold. Wet.

He's back in the forest.

Cameron feels an urge to get up and run to safety but his body is heavy and his heart in panic.

Moving doesn't seem like a good idea right now.

Just act dead.

Ba dum. Ba dum. Ba dum.

His eyes are open but he can't see much. The morning sun is slowly pushing its light through the trees but it's nowhere near bright enough for Cameron to comprehend his surroundings.

He tries to calm down by taking control of his breathing.

'Is Kaz okay?'

The cold air wraps his body into an icy cocoon. He has to get back to the dorms or else he'll freeze out here.
