“We both have appointments at my hairdresser on Monday. We’ll get our hair done and get manicures and pedicures.”
“Wow,” I said. “I’ve never had a pedicure, I mean, a professional one.”
“It’s wonderful. You just sit back and let people pamper you.”
“Wow,” I sighed. Then I asked, “When do we leave?”
“Probably by noon on Wednesday. We’ll fly to Miami and take the yacht from there.”
“What airline are we taking?” I tried to imagine where the airlines were located at the airport. Maybe I’d get mileage if it were American.
Car looked at me and smirked. “I have my own plane. It’s my yacht, too.”
“Whoa,” was all I could say.
“Yes,” Car whispered. “You’re playing in the big leagues now, dear.”
“I never doubted it.” I rolled her over onto her back and started to kiss down her body. 8
