Valentine’s Day

That smile gets me every time. Yet I know you aren't mine and I know you never will be. You'll never look at me the way I look at you. You'll never turn around and look back at me when I walk behind you. Instead you'll look forward. You'll look to someone else and I'll sit and watch. Maybe eventually you'll look to me, but only after you can't have the person you want. Only when your craving someone's love or needing to be liked you'll turn to me. You know that I'll give you what you want and I'll know that what you feel for me is all a lie, but I'll love all of it. All the lies and heartbreak. I'll love you and me for the both of us.
