/"Nope,/" Joel said, steering me towards the upstairs bathroom where the shower was. /"I've met the most awesome dino there is and it isn't Solar./"

I stopped in my tracks. /"You did? You met a dino even more awesome than Solar without me?/" I felt my bottom lip tremble at the betrayal. /"How could you?/"

/"I mean you, dummy,/" Joel said, rolling his eyes.

/"Oh./" I grinned. Then grinned wider as I realized that he thought I was the best dino ever! /"Dino kisses?/"

/"Once you're all clean, sure./"

I didn't accept that. I stomped my foot and glared until he gave in, rubbing his nose across mine in the kind of way that instantly brought a smile to my face. I rewarded him with a kiss. Then it was Joel's turn to smile.
