Arthur's Troubles
The plan was twisted and he knew that it would lead to the death of many but it was the most effective method he could think of.
He did not value anybody in this region and his fear that his parents might think bad of him was no longer a restraint.
From the moment they received the powers and their existence elevated, their view of the world and living beings changed.
It was not a conscious decision but just a natural occurrence.
It was like visiting a slaughterhouse. One could hear the pigs scream, but once you get used to it, it just becomes background noise.
This was the nature of all creation. Superior creatures hardly think of inferior ones unless they have something to earn from them.
