Chapter 78

"Avoiding me I see," someone whispered behind her ear startling her, she turned around to see who immediately in shock. 

"You," she exclaimed staring at Louis then back at where he had been talking to the girl, how did he get here so quick? Was she thinking that much that she had lost track of time?

"Yes me."

"I...i..am not avoiding you," Sarah lied. 

"Then what are you doing?"

"I should be asking you, you are the one who is here stalking me."

"Matteo is pissed that I kissed you," Louis said trying to get a reaction from her about it, he didn't want to get into anything that wasn't his in the first place most especially something that involved his brother. The last thing he wanted was to be fighting with his brother over a woman. 

"He is?" Sarah asked wondering why Matteo would be angry about that, wasn't he supposed to be happy that what he was always teasing them about had finally happened.

"So you like him?" Louis pressed on not minding her question which he obviously knew was a rhetorical question. 

"Ofcourse not, he is my friend and..."

Sarah had barely finished explaining herself when she felt Louis lips on hers, this time her eyes closed on motion but her hands shoved him off remembering they were in school and some students had just seen them kissing.

Not that anyone bothered with stuffs like these, alot of students found themselves kissing anywhere during break hours and even when the teachers saw them they always played a blind eye to it because they didn't know who was who.

The last student they reported, the father happened to be a politician. The man was too occupied to be worried about if his daughter was found banging one of her classmates in the toilet he was more concerned that his daughter had called him crying her eyes out that she had been expelled.

He had called the school and gave them two options, either the school called off the foolish expulsion or he was going to shut down the school.

Who would be stupid to pick the second when clearly they needed the money they were getting from their parents but regardless PDA wasn't her kind of thing, it wasn't something she was used to, even when she and Devon had kissed they were alone with no eyes looking at them.

Louis stared at her with a smirk realizing that it wasn't that she didn't enjoy the kiss, she seemed to have issues with doing it in public and her eyes were currently looking at the people who were staring at her wondering if their eyes were failing them.

The almighty Louis Klar, just kissed a girl out of the blues, the Klar family was well known in the school and everyone envied them for their popularity and how easy it was for them to be involved in alot of sporting activities not to talk of how good their grades were.

Alot of students in the school were not doing so well academically and they mostly relied on sports but for the Klar they did both perfectly and it was a turn on for the ladies around, they knew Louis had dated a couple of top ladies in school but to see him being affectionate was something they had never seen before.

It was women who threw themselves at him not the other way round and worst it was his best friend Sarah, maybe they had been lying about this best friend thing maybe they were secret lovers all along and got carried away and exposed themselves or worst they were friends with benefits.

"You haven't been at our house for somewhile," Louis said.

"Yeah, I got busy with house stuffs," Sarah lied but figured she should have thought about a more better lie as house stuff was clearly something she didn't quite enjoy doing at all, she enjoyed going out and having fun with friends but being at home wasn't something she enjoyed and even the house chores wasn't something she looked forward to.

Although they had a house maid and lots of workers that could do anything she wanted, her mother felt the need to instill basic knowledge in her that involved house chores and cooking but it was slowly becoming obvious that she wasn't cut out for any of these. 

If they had wanted her to learn so bad they could have fired all the workers when she was born or send her to a place that wasn't home, not that anyone was even bothered by if she could cook or arrange the house. 

Every girl in school had more important things to talk about like fashion and going out to popular places.

Matteo stared at Jake not saying a word as he watched the duo looking at themselves in shock, he had totally forgotten about Jake and the main reason he had stayed away from Sarah for years but now it felt like everything was going to happen all again, he was happy to see his brother back but not when he and Sarah had a thing going on.

Sarah walked up to Dawn's side to check on her leaving Matteo to walk up to Jake and rekindle their brotherly love.

"I will leave you," Maya excused herself getting quite uncomfortable with the present situation, she didn't love the tension that was in the room. It seemed Jake and the other woman had something going on, she was so silly to think Jake was into her or something. 

It seemed he already had someone else who he was interested in all along but yet she seemed like she had seen a ghost, maybe she was a old lover because she had even called Jake Louis, was that like his middle name or his actual name. 

Maya stared back at Sarah then Jake, why was she suddenly envious of this lady and the way Jake was still staring at her despite the fact that she had left him alone.

"Alright," he said still looking at Sarah with a smirk. He didn't even notice when Maya had excused herself and left him alone or when Matteo had walked closer to him also noticing the way he was staring at Sarah.

"Jake Wells," Matteo called out to him, he had found out about the person who Maya had shot but the name didn't ring a bell in his head at all, he was still stunned to see Louis, not knowing how to go about it, whether to hug him or what?

He had suddenly left them without a trace, they were ready to stand by him, to defend him but he just left. For years they cooked up stories about Louis till no one even remembered they had a brother, all they knew was Stephan and Matteo Klar.

Some even said that maybe Louis was an adopted child all along or he wasn't even related to them, just a family friend.

"Matteo Klar," Jake said stretching his hand wide open for a hug from his little brother, he didn't care if his stitch was opening right now. Matteo leaned in giving him a hug in a subtle way trying not to hurt Jake but Jake pulled him in hugging him tightly like he was not going to see him again.

"I have missed you so much," Matteo heard Jake but he didn't believe any of it, did Louis really miss him or Stephan , if he did why didn't he reach out to any one of them over the years or even Sarah. He had decided to remain in hiding or rather be another person.

What if this whole Dawn and Gonzales thing didn't happen? They would have never seen each other again for a very long time. 

Stephan stared at them, he wasn't going to be hugging Louis for sure and he didn't care where he might have been all this while, his main priority was Dawn and keeping her calm.

The last thing he needed was to be concerned about someone who clearly didn't bother about him or to know if everything was going on fine in his life, to him right now his only brother was Matteo and that was enough for him.
