Chapter 73: Father
The two large metal doors slid into the wall as Iyah candidly walked into a room.
This room was not too big and not too small, large enough to allow a lot of free movement.
The space was dimly lit with the only area with a light source being the center of the room.
Surprisingly, the source of the light was a male humanoid figure who sat cross-legged while hovering a few inches from the ground.
The white light originating from his body was soft to the eyes, going off once in a while.
“Father, you called for me,” Iyah said slowly. Her eyes were set on the ground and her shoulders were down as a subconscious act of submission.
This levitating man was A'lravee. He opened his eyes to reveal his two beautiful mirror-like eyes.
Those eyes stared down emotionlessly at Iyah, she could instinctively feel his gaze on her frail body.
“It's okay to cry.” A'lravee's voice was deep and commanding at the same time giving the tone of an extremely lonely and affectionate person.
