52 Ghost Villages

Lucien was 80 times stronger in just body strength compared to the commoner old man, it was unsurpassable gap, not to mention the more than 500 times stronger Soul. Lucien didn't even need to move, he just used some Soul Pressure and the old man died.

He could do that for all the commoners, but in his current state, he preferred piercing their bodies with his hand and digging out their hearts, enjoying them first.

It didn't take him long to finish the whole village, even if they could notice him, Rank 0s couldn't even let out a sound before they died, he was more than 12 times faster than the peak Agility for Rank 0.

Once he was finished with the whole village, he looked through everything, not missing a detail.

He made sure to leave some blood splatters here and there, even pieces of flesh could be seen lying around. He even went through the trouble to break the wall in a couple of places, to make it seem as if it was multiple Beast that got in, not giving anyone the chance to escape.

Lucien continued massacring villages and giving the honors to the Beast for the next couple of days, when the total amount of ghost villages reached 3, he already had the 100 000.'

The first village was small, he got 25 000 existence points from the second and 33 000 from the third. The third had a peak Rank 1 guarding over it, he had to use a Soul Blade to make sure everything proceeded silently.

'For his soul, Lucien had to kill 100 commoners to improve 10.00 in his Soul stat, as 1/10 was of a commoner was 0.1 Soul and Lucien killed around 200 in 3 villages, and he got on average 0.7 from the Rank 0s, and 7 from the Rank 1s. In total his Soul improved from 514.10 to 569.80, which was quite a bonus.

Lucien still managed to control his urges and the moment he did, it all went back to normal, the eyes, the aura, it all just disappeared. Along with the external signs, the meticulous thinking, the unrestrained constitution and the freedom he had been feeling also went away.

Lucien quickly found a valley formed by two hills, it looked like someone slashed one hill apart, the cliffs looked completely flat and shiny. There was no exit on the other side, and he took some time to block the entrance as well, making it an isolated cultivation spot.

He had the soil he needed to absorb below his feet and the flesh energy he needed to practice with in the Crimson World, everything was ready.

Lucien was already used to spend time alone, he just sat down and started absorbing soil from random places around him, when he was tired, he would use inhumane amount of resources to speed up the practice.

He was using 4kg worth of Rank 1 animal meat each day, with 1kg a day he could get 1 stat point per month in Strength, but now he was going at 4 stat points per month.

It still took 5 months to reach the peak or Rank 1 with Strength, but Lucien was satisfied, he only cared about his power, anything that helped was worth spending money for.

It took him another 3 month to understand the promotional diagram and the Flesh Particles well enough to breakthrough, which was quite unexpected to him, he planned this trip to last only 5 months, but was delayed.
