Melting voice

I and Alan discussed about some cases, then time ran out so soon. "hey, it's time for me. Can you drop me at my house?" Jia asked Alan. He said okay. Alan dropped me at my house and went. I went near the doorway and saw inside,..., Ash sat on the sofa in the hall. "What you need a red carpet to get in?" Ash sneered. "Aish! you...," I said in my mind voice.

"Jia, you go refresh and come. Ash also didn't have dinner. He is waiting for you," Uncle Max told. Next second, I saw Ash, but he is playing games on mobile. "Go refresh and come soon, Jia," Aunt Neela said. I nodded, went inside the bedroom, and refreshed. Ash speaking with Aunt Neela and Uncle Max.

"Honey," I called Ash, but Ash, Aunty, and Uncle are staring at me. "Come, we can eat," I called. "I will eat and come, mom," Ash told to his parents and went to the dining table. "You both had dinner?" I asked Ash's parents. Ash's parents replied yes. 

I went to the dining table. There Ash sitting without eating. "Why are you not eating?" I asked by walking near the table. "If you serve only, I can eat," Ash sighed. "Why can't you serve yourself?" I scowled. "Then why you're here as my wife?" He glowered.

I want this. I didn't reply and stood silently. I took a plate, filled it with food, and gave it to him. "Why are you standing? Sit have food," He told. "Nah, you have. I will eat afterward," I replied. "Why? What there in eating together?" He questioned. "Nothing like that," I too seated and having dinner.

"Morning with whom you went?"

"My friend, Alan."

"Where is your car?"

"I left my car for service."

Then we both ate silently. Ash finished having dinner and went to the hall. I cleaned the kitchen and went to the bedroom. I took the day off for just three days. For that itself, many cases pending. In this case, my mom told me to apply for leave for a week, then that's all I will be dying.

I took my laptop and collecting details about that car. After a few minutes, Ash entered the room. "Here, have it," He gave me a key. "What is this?" I asked by seeing the key. "My car key. Till you get your car back. You use my car," Ash said. "It's okay. I will go with Alan," I denied.

"If I said, do it. Here take this key," Ash yelled. I silently got the key. Ash saw me sitting silently, so he came, and sat beside me. "Jia," he called me with his soft voice. Like ice cream melting, I'm melting for his voice. It's so softie, but I didn't care for him. "Look at me," He told. "Aww, I have work," I replied. Hey! Seriously, guys, I'm using my laptop while Ash calling me. In this situation, I can't see him.

"LOOK AT Me," Ash said with a soft tone, but I can see force like clenched his teeth. This time, I looked at him like say, but my heart is racing. I should not leave my pride low, so I didn't show any facial expression. "I know about my wifie, but our neighbors don't know anything about you. This is the reason, I gave my car key. Now you understood?" He asked me.

Like a mother, explain to a kid. Ash advise me with his softie voice. I don't know what to reply to. Actually, I thought he is doubting me that's why he gave me his car key. "Okay, I'm so tired. I will go and sleep. You too, sleep soon, "Ash patted my head gently and went to sleep.

That innocent boy who I investigated and told to come and see in my house, namely Owen. For Owen, I gave him a job. His work is to follow that car. I asked about salary. Owen said that I will ask when I need then give. 

But, I created a bank account for him. Monthly, I allocated an amount as his salary. Days move on, Ash also tried to get closer to me, but I avoided him.

Two months later, one fine day. I had night duty, so I'm staying at the house in the morning. Today, It's a holiday for Ash, so he is also in the house. Uncle Max went out to see his business partners. Aunty Neela went to Temple.

"Jia, come here," Ash called me. "What you want?" I came from the kitchen. "Turn on the Television," Ash smiled. "Remote is next to you. Can't you turn it on yourself?" I asked. "Are you talking back?" Ash sneered. "Not like that," I turned on the Television. 

Why they gave him a holiday? Not at all being quiet in the house. While I and Ash talking, so we went to see who aunt Neela is speaking with? A lady from neighbors started to talk with Aunt Neela. 

"Neela, you went to the temple early morning. any special?!!" The lady asked.

"Nah, just to pray."

"Ohh, I see. I thought your daughters-in-law are pregnant that's why you went to the temple to thank God." 

"Nah, not like that, sister." 

"Ahh, still there are no children to your both sons? right." 

"Yes, sister." 

"Tell them to do a check-up. Who knows? What kind of problems your sons or daughters-in-law have? But see, my daughter was pregnant after two months of their marriage."

I got angry by hearing that lady's words. "Mom, what are you doing there? Come inside," Ash called Aunt Neela. "I will take some rest. Don't disturb me," Aunt Neela said while entering the house. 

I stayed inside the room. After hearing that lady's word, aunt Neela was too strange. For night duty, still I have time. So, I went to the kitchen to prepare coffee. Ash called me from the room. I ran to the bedroom again. 

"What?! Honey," I asked. "Your mobile is vibrating for so long. Check it," Ash told. Now, I remember I turn the volume down because of a headache. I took my mobile, saw the notification and shocked. 

Alan- 8 missed call

Owen- 5 missed call

Next second, I call back Alan. He gave me an address and told me to come to that address. I informed Ash and Uncle Max and started moving.
