Alexia encounter part 2

To give a quick explanation of what we discussed after nero mentioned taking a quest 

I was startled 

A bit reluctant to accept although very interested cause of my money problem 

He talked about always wanting to go on a quest 

A monster hunting quest in particular 

I did owe him , so I couldn't reject him outright 

Like that I accepted his request 

Arriving at the guild 

There seems to be some commotion 

Someone's shouting at the counter 

" hmm? , what's going on "

" seems like there's trouble "

Curious, I head in that direction 

Nero followed behind me 

He seems to be taking in the view of the guild 

Probably his first .

At the scene is a middle aged man in his forties 

Raged chipped armor 

A flailing arm 

He's completely battered and bruised 

And yet he shouts ferociously 

[ WHAT THE HELL!! ]

at the counter facing him 

Is an old man with slick white hair

 who looks to be in his sixties 

[ YOU CAN'T TELL ME THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO!!! THIS WASN'T WHAT WE SIGNED UP FOR!! ]

Enraged the man grabs a hold of the old man on his collar 

Slamming him on the table then proceeds to bring him up close 

[ B!.... IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A FUCKING B-RANKED QUEST 

HOW THE HELL DID IT TURN TO THAT??!! ]

[ I'm sorry ]

The old man wears an apologetic and solemn expression one which almost everyone in the guild shares 

" that's horrible "

My heads already facing the ground 

These scenes are hard to bear

" what's this about? Doesn't seem like your used to it "

Who can be used to something like like this 

" This has gotten common these days 

Quests exceeding the difficulty original thought 

It's happened to most people at this point, myself included "

The old man already bruised 

And bleeding from his lip 

Still speaks

[ again , I'm so sorry for the loss of your party members and your injuries 

We wish you the best and a speedy recovery ]

[ HUUHHH??? TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ]

[ my apologies but we can't do anything ]

Some adventures not wanting to interfere directly 

Call other employees of the guild , they come running 

" with the amount of noise this guy is making, they should have been here from the beginning "

" I'm sure they have also seen there fair share of backlash "

" ...."

"Everyone knows the risks at this point 

These incidents aren't something new , the guild has been trying their best to take measures but there's no solution "

"....."

"Adventurers need the money from quests so it's not like they can just sit back 

They know the risks at stake now, 

everyone does"

The adventurer continues harassing the old man 

The Other employees who came to help out 

Aren't making these better

Seemingly making the adventurer more agitated 

[ get out before we call the council!! It's your fault for not knowing your limits ]

[ that's right , aren't you a C-ranked adventurer?! ]

[ TCH ]

Clicking his tongue 

He wields his sword 

This is getting out of hand

Everyone's turning a blind eye to this , probably cause they know his pain all too well 

But I won't stand for it , I'm tired of wearing 

the same sorrowful expression as everyone else 

I take a deep breath 

Puff out my chest 

Clinching my fists 

I need to take a step 

A big bold step but I can't move 

Why now , I'm unable act again

Shivering , I'm shivering 

No I have to atleast 

Let my voice be heard 

Stretching out my hand 

I scream 

" STO--!! "

[ DAMMIT , YOU WILL PAY! ]

Setting himself 

He slashes at them 

[ AAAAHH!!-- ]

Parrying the strike 

Is a young man with black hair and odd clothing 

" huh....nero , when did you? "

I quickly glanced at my side 

He left 

At what point did he leave 

When I was ranting? , well that was the last I paid any attention to him 

He confronted the adventure 

" so nero can be brave huh...."

Saying that , I could feel my chest tighten 

I failed again

Wielding a long black sword with writing resembling ancient descriptions all over it

An ominous looking sword 

The adventure who fell over stopped with annoyance and surprise

He hadn't noticed Nero 

Nero who has stopped moving 

Staying still as if striking a pose 

The whole guild was shocked with these turn of events 

Everyone gasping at the sight of an unknown figure making a somewhat grandiose appearance 

He's pose like stance also drew in everyone's attention longer 

" geezer , this quest---" 

With the whole guild listening silently 

He's pause somehow 

Made the scene more captivating 

" I would like to take this quest , if it's on offer "

" haa?.....HAAAA!!!" 

My reaction is the same with everyone elses, who is this guy? And is he supposed to be asking that now?

" oh , alexia are you done rambling " 

" rambling! , Wait what do you think your doing "

" mm? "

" we can't take this quest it's completely out of our league."

He just smiles and says

" we will be fine "
