The rescue work lasted almost half a day, luckily for the heroes the energy of Est that protected people had lasted long enough.

No civilians were killed in this incident.

But the spark that was necessary for the people in power to efficiently control the heroes was already in play.

The group of the New Warriors, at the request of the United Nations, was brought to trial and although they did not cause any casualties in the incident, the great material damage caused in Stamford Connecticut was still their fault, they were tried and taken to a special prison for pay for their crimes.

Nitro and his partners went through a more severe trial and will never be able to get out of prison.

But this did not calm the masses who started protests as they were afraid that a similar incident would happen and this time lives would be lost.

This prompted the United States government and the United Nations to seek a solution.

After a heated discussion, the Superhuman Registration Act was brought up again.

Which for a long time had been postponed because there was not much foundation.

When the government made this known, the public immediately agreed, which gave it power and it was officially proclaimed.

These incidents did not affect Alex's group vacations.

For four days after the incident in Connecticut no one came to bother them.

It seems that the incident made different organizations very busy.

Since not even Doctor Strange came to see them.

Although of course, they knew they were being watched but that didn't bother them.

Besides, Wanda had decided to relax at home so as not to attract attention.

And when she went out with the group, she completely changed her appearance so they wouldn't recognize her.

Alex had a smile on his face thinking how they would react to seeing Wanda here.

Alex's group is currently sitting in the living room watching the morning news.

They are broadcasting the Connecticut incidents and the new law regarding the Superhuman Registration Act.

"Is this really happening?" Wanda asked with a complicated look.

"That's normal, from the information I searched in the SHIELD database, the heroes of this universe have enemies everywhere, even in the government itself since some of them hate Mutants" Irene informed calmly.

"Yeah, especially the one called Norman Osborn. That man is very dangerous, from what I've previously investigated, he was the super villain called Green Goblin" Rogue commented seriously.

Alex knows about it. Norman is a man with great ambition, in the comics he used the war against the Skrulls and killed their empress which made him gain fame and allowed him to become the leader of SHIELD so that later he would start a war against Asgard.

Aside from Norman, Alex also knows there are other people involved. Hydra and the Skrulls are two organizations that are most interested in making this happen.

"That man is deliberately targeting Mutants, it seems like he really wants to gain people's support. I'm worried that he'll cause trouble for us in the future" Wanda said with a look full of disdain.

"If that happens, we'll show him his place, you don't have to worry too much" Alex said as he played with Sasha's chubby cheeks who seemed annoyed and tried to push his hand away.

"That's true, it would be great if he came to cause us trouble, since we would have a reason to hit him" Wanda said with a wicked smile.

Alex is speechless when he hears her words.

Thus, they spent the day in a relaxed manner.

Baxter Building

Currently the heroes are in a meeting with a very somber attitude.

This meeting is to seek a solution and alternative to the registration act law.

"I don't think it's a good idea, protecting our identity is what allowed us to keep our loved ones safe" Spider-Man said after some thought.

"Yes, but our security will be taken care of by SHIELD and you know that they have chosen Stark to lead this program" Reed Richards added.

"Do you think so? I don't think so, after all the information always leaks" Luke Cage mocked.

"He's right, besides, as a Mutant our situation will be more problematic and those fanatics will start a witch hunt" Wolverine said.

The place was filled with an intense discussion and sides began to form.

Some supporting the registration law and others against it.

Doctor Strange had isolated himself to further investigate the essence of Alex Wayne.

When he met Alex, he felt in him a strange connection with the world, which was strange since he did not belong to this universe.

After exhaustive research, he found the answer in the Ancient One's diary which spoke of something called The Pillar.

An essence that maintained the balance of reality in the multiverse, which made it unique.

Doctor Strange was surprised at how important Alex Wayne was to the multiverse.

The changes produced by him would be a good thing and would alter the destiny of the people.

But according to the Ancient One's diary, he must not be offended.

Doctor Strange sighed at this new information.

After seeing this information, he decided to pay him a visit.

About the events that were happening around the heroes, he would not get involved.

This was something that had to happen.

Leaving his room, he runs into Wong and says:

"If Stark or Captain come looking for me, tell them I'm busy"

"Are you sure about that, Strange?" Wong asked a little worried.

"Yes, the job of the Sorcerer Supreme is to maintain the balance of the beings from another dimension and to take care of the Earth, not to get involved in political matters" with a dignified look, Strange answered.

"Okay, I'll do what you said, but where are you going?" Wong commented when he saw that Doctor Strange was going to leave.

"I will go to visit our visitor from another universe" when he finished speaking, Doctor Strange left the place.

Seeing Strange's departure, Wong sighs and looking out the window of the Sanctum Sanctorum, he mutters:

"Tonight will be chaotic"
