A.I.M. Part 2

Alex Wayne POV

While I was relaxing in the swimming pool at my house, Irene and Rogue came to see me.

With a bit of mock caution, I ask them:

"What are you doing here? I warn you, if you attack me, I will respond"

Rogue rolls her eyes at my words.

Irene just smiles softly at my words.

"Stop talking nonsense, besides, you have your harem to satisfy your whims" a jealous Rogue said.

I just put on a bitter smile at her words.

When Irene sees me uncomfortable, she intervenes saying:

"A group of people representing two companies want to talk to you, it seems they want something from us"

Raising an eyebrow, I ask:

"What companies?"

"Omnitech and Pacific Vista Laboratories" Irene answered.

Those names sound familiar.

After some thought I decided to meet with them and see what they wanted.

Leaving home, we headed to the Council Room.

When we arrived at my office, a total of four people were waiting for us.

Of all those people, only one of them caught my attention, since I recognized him.

Seeing my arrival, the person I recognized approaches and greeting me says:

"Nice to meet you Mr. Governor, I am a representative of Omnitech, my name is-"

"Aldrich Killian"

Yeah, this guy is Tony's enemy in Iron Man 3, he really does look like the actor.

If he is here, it means that the people who came with him must be members of A.I.M.

Nodding at his greeting, I look at the other three people.

Sensing my gaze, one of them introduced himself as a representative of Pacific Vista Laboratories.

The reason why these people from different companies came together is because they are in a joint cooperation.

After the introductions, settling in our seats I ask them:

"So, what is the reason for your visit?"

Hearing my question, Aldrich Killian takes the lead and says:

"Mr. Wayne, we have heard that you have raised an army, our arrival here is for that reason"

"We want to offer you the most advanced weapons that we produce, we know the situation of Genosha in the world, that's why we offer you our help" finishing speaking, he took out a briefcase with the sample of an «advanced weapon».

Seeing the weapon and hearing his words, I ask him:

"If I accept, what do you want in exchange?"

With a smile Aldrich answers:

"Mr. Wayne, we know you possess vibranium, if you make a trade with that metal then we will close the deal"

Listening to his words I finally understand the situation.
