A battle of kings Enki vs Antares!

-Clang!

The massive Ice blade clashed against Antares's limb. There was a struggle for a second before the blade shattered and Antares's limb slammed into Enki.

He went flying and crashed into the ground but he was fine "torrent" shielded him. He sprung back up as Antares screeched.

-Snap! -Woosh!

Enki conjured a massive flame as the fire shot forward Antares screeched, but only for a moment as it healed adapting.

'More fuel,' Enki grinned and clapped his hands. Thrusting his arms forward, he added more fuel to the flames.

Antares screeched in pain, the flames burning brighter and turning blue. The monster's body was submerged in a fiery agony.

"What is he thinking!?" Artemis shouted, looking down at Enki as he burned Antares alive.

"I honestly can't tell anymore." Lilly said with a huff, "we have to believe in him."

...

Enki stopped hearing the wet sounds of its flesh regenerating at a fast rate. In literal seconds, it recovered.

'Fast regeneration and it must've already adapted to the flames,' Enki thought as he braced himself.

Antares looked up at the space above and burst into bright light. 'Oh fuck,' Enki cursed as Artemis's powers sent down a flurry of small spears.

Enki bent down and kicked off as a spear of light crashed into where he was. Another spear came crashing down. He barely dodged the force of the blast sent him skidding back as more kept coming towards him!

'Shit, shit, shit!' He cursed, barely avoiding the spears. He froze and back-flipped as another landed in front of him!

-Bam!

The force sent him higher in the air, his eyes widened as the hail of spear was coming to him. His pupils shrank, and the circle he drew on his boots lit up, gathering air around them.

-Fwoosh!

His boots pushed him out of the air. He dodged the first light spear, another followed right after, and he kicked off the air again, avoiding it.

-Swish! -Swish!

He swerved past the flurry of attacks in the air; the ground shook from the impact of the attacks.

Enki, 'thank god I thought of this before,' nodded, focusing on Antares. The monster was naturally quiet.

And Enki was a bit too late to notice he couldn't hear the shouting from Artemis and the others because of the explosions.

Enki was suspended in the air. He felt the chill run down his spine. He looked down at the smoke, realising his mistake.

The spears Antares shot did not disappear. Above, below, all around him, they surrounded him.

Antares, "OOOOOH!" It howled all the spears of light shot at the same time towards Enki!

-Clap! -BOOM!

The spears struck, exploding in bright light and letting out a shockwave that pushed everyone back. Antares moved its attention from the smoke cloud towards the others.

It was about to lock onto them when something fast flew through the smoke.

-Shunk!

Antares screeched in pain as a shard of ice stabbed its one eye. The eye bulged and squelched, pushing the ice out as its muscles and flesh glued together, healing from its injury.

Before it could do or say anything, a literal hail of ice chards shot off towards it, stabbing it with a constant flurry of ice.

'Bitch!' Enki was in a pained state with two potions in his mouth, an elixir and a health potion. It burned half his gear off and his body sustained a large second-degree burn from the blast.

He clapped his hands again, expanding his water aura and creating ice shards, shooting them towards Antares.

Before the spears of light struck him, Enki covered himself in multiple layers of ice spheres. He drank the potion and elixir because he knew it wouldn't be enough, and luckily, he was right.

Antares screeched, "REEEEEH!" Enki stopped launching Ice and fell with a hard thud huffing.

He watched as the Chimera pushed the ice shards outs of its body, blood and flesh slipping out with the ice and the open wounds steamed as they began closing.

-Rip

Enki removed his ruined shirt and coat, and with the help of "Torrent," he was protected and healed as well. The cooling sensation matched the pain of his burns.

'Move, get close.'

Enki charged forwards as Antares was busy healing. He used the cover of the smoke, trying to close the distance.

'It's probably adapted again, so fire and ice alchemy is out the window, but I know destruction alchemy will work. I just need to get close to Artemis's really body.'

Antares, "SCREEEEEH!" screeched, having recovered, the Chimera was truly enraged. From its screech, the wind picked up, pushing the dust away, and Enki was open.

It glared at him, unleashing its pressure. Enki glared and countered with his king's aura. The two forces were visible for all to see Enki's red aura clashed against the monster's purple aura.

Enki's Aura was shrinking. As he saw its pressure, he could see small specs of violet light, 'bastards using Artemiss's divinity!'

He cursed, feeling an unmeasurable weight on his lungs, "You. Are. Nothing." the words did not sound human and were difficult to understand but he did.

"I. Have the body and power of a god you are nothing," the voice he knew was Antares entered his mind. Its pressure was increasing and Enki was having a hard time breathing.

"What is a king to a god... brother," Antares spoke in his mind.

Enki bearing too much and did not hear its last words. 'I'm choking, shit this is like back then with Ottar,' he coughed blood, his aura weakening more.

Enki fell on one knee, trying to gasp for air. The pain from the burn lingered, the pressure from Antares altogether was becoming too much.

Antares raised its giant pincer and drove it down.

"Enki!" Ryuu's shout reached him he saw her speeding her way to reach him.

'What is a god!' Enki gritted his teeth and clapped his hands as the shadow of its pincer covered him.

'To a non-believer!' In a fight-or-flight response king's Aura exploded, no longer being suppressed by Antares's pressure but clashing and overpowering it.

But Enki's Aura was not just towards Antares, it shot everywhere a message to Ryuu and the others to stand back and let him solo him.

-BAAM! -CRACK! -BOOM!

Antares, "SREEEEEH!" jumped back, suffering as lightning surged its pincer, exploding it into chunks and blood.

"Hah," Enki huffed, the Chimera's blood mixing with his "Torrent" gave the aura a dark red tint.

"Move," he told himself and ran towards Antares the monster losing a large appendage would take a while to recover.

'How can it speak? Did it evolve that far after capturing Artemis?' Enki shook himself, putting the thought at the back of his mind.

He was getting close to the Chimera. With a hollow scream, it launched its other pincer, trying to kill him.

Enki coughed blood, tanking the attack. His water aura was suffering and nearing its limits, he grunted lightning tricked through, destroying its second appendage from the inside out.

It exploded as the other chunks and blood fell everywhere. Enki was almost invisible. The blood mixing with his water aura allowed him to blend in with the gore around him.

"H-how is this possible?" Artemis was watching in awe.

Not only her but Hestia and Bell also, Hermes was watching with a scrutinizing look.

Asfi was at a loss for words. This was the same alchemist she hear who tore off Ottar's arm. She didn't believe the rumour, but after seeing this, it became a fact.

Lilly wanted to say something but her mind went back to when they thought goliath, "This isn't the first time he's fought something bigger than himself." That was all Lilly could say.

"Am I really going to be saved?" Artemis whispered her words, clinging to hope.

Artemis fell to her knees, her eyes watering. "Why?" That was all she could ask. Why go this far?

Ryuu came back, landing in front of them. She had jumped without thinking and now came back, no longer holding a seed of doubt for his failure. She turned to Artemis with a small smile.

'You're very caring to those close to you and don't want them to hurt. Greedy for power, Enki, you would do anything to become stronger,' Ryuu thought, finally coming to understanding him.

-BAM! -BAM! -BAM!

Antares bashed its legs trying to kill Enki, but it missed him every time. Its leg landed next to him as he clapped his hand and destroyed it. Antares screeched, losing a limb.

Enki didn't stop and kept going with his alchemy. He destroyed half its legs, making it unable to stand. Enki had one task left.

Antares was regenerating slowly with so many wounds it could recover that fast. With its eye, it spotted Enki at the foot of his mouth. It summoned a spear of light and shot it.

-Clap!

Enki clapped his hands and slammed them against its mouth. Lightning surged as it exploded the spear of light same towards him. He moved to the left and the spear of light went past him, slamming into the ground.

He looked up to Antares and unleashed his king's Aura, Antares unleashed its pressure again and the two forces clashed. It was quick. Enki won, forcing it unconscious.

Flesh, chunks, teeth Antares was nothing more than a living bloody corpse. Enki, after destroying its mouth, found Artemis encased in a crystal.

Antares unleashed its pressure again to stop Enki from getting close. Its pressure was as pathetic as its state.

Enki shrugged and calmly pressed his hands together and placed them on the crystal. It broke easily as her body slumped slightly attached to Antares.

Enki ignored the fact she was naked. He walked right up to her, "alright please work," he took a deep breath turning off Torrent.

-Clap!

He thrust his hands into the flesh wall behind her. Light surged from his palms. The wall melted and sizzled he grunted as his fingers were emerging with it, the skin of his hands binding and opening up his muscles, bones and flesh binding with Antares.

He was now merged with Antares, his blood, the Chimera's blood and that of Artemis the three bodies were now connected.

Antares quickly sprung to life. Its eyes shone with a red hue. Enki's eyes also turned red. Both beings let out an unholy scream.

"RAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

"Hah!" Enki's eyes snapped open. He looked around and found himself in another space. The skies were red with black clouds. He was standing on the water except it was as red and black as the skies.

"A mindscape?" He muttered, "this isn't what I planned."

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" he heard a familiar voice behind him. Turning, he saw Artemis in black chains.

The surrounding water around her was shining with white light unlike everywhere else. The goddess held a look of bewilderment, hope, and extreme fear.

"Wait, if you here then," he said, connecting the dots.

-Splash!

The water rippled as a shadow covered them both. Artemis's face fell into despair. Enki turned back, seeing Antares behind him, its eyes glowing with a red hue.
