Chapter 31— Toyota Coaster

It was the first time the Johnsons would go to an art gallery, it was the first time they would actually go out together for anything or to any place. Today felt special to them and no doubt, they were either nervous or anxious or even both!

"Stop pushing me, uhh!" George complained as he and his siblings tried to squeeze themselves into a 1995 Toyota Coaster twenty seater bus.

It was a bus painted with green bottom lining and white paint all over its body. The bus was really long and it had enough space for every Johnson.

"Muuummm! Look, Chubby is pushing me!"

Olivia quickly turned her attention to the kids.

"Behave yourself this instant!" She yelled at them. The kids stopped pushing each other and giggled silently.

"Quickly go inside the bus children!" Monica gestured them into the long bus.

First it was the kids that went into the bus and each ran inside to choose a seat for themselves. Then Olivia followed along with Uncle Junior.

"This is gonna be funnn!" Uncle Junior giggled as he stepped on the bus.

"I'll drive!" Joe snatched the keys from Amelia's fingers and jumped into the bus dragging Viola along by the hand.

"What's so special about this gallery anyway, gallery gallery!" Uncle Millie grumbled on his way to the bus; throwing his hands in the air.

"No one's forcing you to come along, dear brother!" Olivia yelled at him from inside the vehicle as she could hear his grumbling words.

"Don't be such a big baby, Millie!" Mrs Johnson spoke up as she climbed the bus.

"I haven't gone to a gallery for the past fifty years now!" Grandpa added as he too climbed on the bus.

"Yeah yeah, settle down everyone, after that we're going for ice cream!" Amelia announced loudly on her way to the bus after she had locked the door to the mansion.

"Yay!" Everyone chorused; especially the kids.

All eighteen of them found their way into the bus and sat in their comfortable positions.

Joe struck the key into the bus, twisted the key to the right and immediately the bus lit up with a vibrating sound that alerted everyone that the bus was about to move.

"Seat belts everyone!" Joe alerted them from the driver's seat.

They obeyed the driver and enabled a seat belt around their waists.

Wheeee! The kids exclaimed as the bus began to gallop mildly on the cobbled grounds.

"Come on Joe step on it!" Uncle Millie shouted from behind.

"Are you nuts! There're kids on this bus!" Olivia answered him angrily.

"Nothing's gonna happen!" He replied with an emphasized voice and chuckled.

Uncle Junior giggled from behind

They drove along Mermaid street and all the way up to High Street. Within a few minutes, they reached their destination. They parked the green bus in front of a glass display view of the gallery.

Amelia was so excited and she was the first person to jump down from the bus. Others followed her excitedly.

They all got down from the bus and walked into the building to see the splendor and luxury of the art.
