"If only we had that much information at hand, son, we would help you prevent them. But like I said, we all have to live through the times. You never know who you're going to lose and at what time.
"So just cherish them while with them, alright?" Gideon said before he shifted his position to the left side of his wife, where their son's head was. He was as close to losing his cool and ended up a distraction.
Maybe there was something he was planning to do then.
"Oh don't tell me you wanna braid him too, Gideon," Kacy said when he noticed the happy smile on her husband's face. He looked like he wanted to make the kid nervous and take the tension away in the only way he knew how, and most of the time, it always worked.
"Our child needs to get some rest, and the quickest way for him, is if someone is braiding his hair. We used to do that for him, remember?" Gideon defended and Kacy knew she had lost the fight.
