PROLOGUE
In the ancient town of a distant land, there existed a tribe called Eternal Ridge, that worshipped the Moon Goddess, Arla. According to their lore, Arla was not only the keeper of the night sky but also the protector of the wild and the guardian of balance in the natural world.
Legend had it that centuries ago, during a time of great battle, Arla bestowed a powerful gift upon her most devoted child, Melissa, the ability to harness the strength of the moon itself. She was granted the ability to transform from human into mighty werewolve under the full moon's glow, becoming her guardians and defenders.
Melissa was a young warrior, who also possessed a fierce spirit and an unwavering devotion to Arla. From a young age, she felt a deep connection to the moon and longed to prove herself worthy of Arla's blessing.
With newfound power, she understood her purpose: to safeguard the land and its inhabitants from threats both mundane and supernatural.
As the years passed, Melissa roamed the land under the watchful gaze of Arla. She became a legendary figure among her people, revered as the chosen one of the Moon Goddess.
With great power came great responsibility, yet one couldn't resist the temptations of love. On her way to worship Arla, Melissa met a young man with blue eyes. Falling in love, she abandoned Arla. She became pregnant, but the young man suddenly disappeared one day.
After being abandoned, Melissa returned to Arla's house, a place she had left before.
"You are an abomination! You have broken the rules and now reek of evil," Arla's voice echoed in the room, though she was invisible.
"I am very sorry," Melissa uttered as tears streamed down her face. She fell to her knees in shame.
"Melissa, despite my love for you, you have chosen to fall for the devil's trick and even carried his seeds. Now you will pay the price," Arla announced.
"Please, just forgive me this once, and I promise I will never make the same mistake again. I am willing to accept any punishment," Melissa begged with her head bowed down in shame.
After a moment of silence, Arla finally announced her decision, more like a curse.
"From now onward, you will be stripped of all your entitlement and power. Your name shall only be known as a traitor, and you shall be ridiculed and mocked all around the world. Immediately after you deliver the child within you, you shall perish, and your soul will be restless, wandering all around the world without peace. This evil child and its offspring shall…"
"Please, let me bear all the curse and spare this innocent child. I beg you," Melissa pleaded once again, placing her hand on her protruding belly.
Once her beloved and devoted child, Arla decided to spare the child at her request and banned Melissa from her house.
Melissa gave birth to a child and turned into a statue immediately after delivery. Her story spread across the world as a tale and folklore, as she was once known as the Moon Goddess's heart.
