stay on guard
The relief of having that monster off her back was more than words written down could describe. The loud roar that echoed had gotten to her ears. Thinking back at how furious the monster would be now, she was grateful that she was no where near where it was. She was more than delighted when her feet finally stepped out of the fog.
Her team shared in that delight when they saw her. The last roar had gotten to their ears though they were outside the fog. At that point, they had almost lost all hope thinking she had lost to the Creature but seeing her step out the next minute brought a huge sense of relief.
Raaya breathed a sigh of relief before she also collapsed to the floor. She fell to her knees and a chunk of black blood splurted out of her mouth.
"Raaya!" Her friends rushed to help her up.
