Chapter 1: Welcome to the Academy!

As of today, it was the first day of what seemed to be high school or college for many students, old and new students alike, some returning, some joining for the first time.

Conveniently enough, a few certain friends had all gotten an invitation to join the academy, but the thing is, they were all unaware that they were all invited to be in the same school as each other.

"Hm, I'm assuming that this is the place." A brown and purple haired cat-beastman wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants thought. "Well, at least I don't have to be stuck with Klou anymore." He chuckled, seeming content, his violet ears slightly folding down in content, though it didn't last long as they immediately flicked up.

"Gc!!" A familiar voice shouted, tackling the poor guy into a hug, squishing his face into her chest.

"God..Damn it! GET OFF OF ME!" He shouted pushing the girl off of him.

"Ah..haha..! S-sorry, didn't mean to tackle you..!" The pink haired girl smiled awkwardly as she looked to the side to try and hide her embarrassment, her index finger twitching.

"Right.." Gc muttered, "Anyways, why are you here exactly? Did you somehow track me here to kidnap me?" Gc asked the pinket.

"I got an invitation to this place, didn't you?" She asked as she helped the male get up then pulled out a torn open white envelope with a red seal on it.

"I thought you lived in the monstrosity that looks to be an Oven.. Speaking of which- how did you get that? The Oven doesn't have a mailbox!"

"Okay, one, I don't live in the oven. Two...Hm. That's a good question." Klou spun a bit as she held her bag on her curled fingers.

Gc followed the spinning girl as she walked when his ears picked up a familiar voice.

"You had basically moved into the Oven, and don't even try to deny it Klou." A familiar, yet annoyed voice spoke up as it neared closer revealing a violet haired demoness with blue and red eyes.

"Eeeee! 'Luna!!" A short blonde girl wearing black cat ears and tail shouted jumping into the pinkett's arms.

"ACK- SHIT-" Klou swore as she tried keeping herself from falling from the tackle, "Hi..It's good to see you too!" Klou replied to the short blonde hugging her back once she regained her balance.

"I'm assuming that you got the letter as well, Gargoyle?" Gc asked the dark violet haired demoness.

"Noo, really? How'd you guess!?" The demoness sarcastically replied to the beastman.

"Oh, hey Gargoyle, long time no see." A muffled voice spoke smacking the back of er head.

Giana looked at the oddly pale man in confusion as he continued walking towards the school.

"Bastard.." Gargoyle muttered to herself as she placed a hand on the back on her head, glancing around to see if she could spot him.

Gargoyle sighed, "We should probably head inside and continue talking there so Klou doesn't turn into a baked potato.. again." Gargoyle snickered remembering the last time they left Klou outside without sunscreen.

Klou's cheek puffed out, "For the record, that was your sister's fault for switching the sunscreen for tanning oil!"

Giana silently snickered remembering her prank she did last year as the group wandered around looking for an entrance.

"Ali! Ali! I can't believe it! I'm actually here!!" A voice from afar shouted.

"Yes, I'm happy for you Malleus, just don't run into any-MALLEUS FOR FUCKS SAKE LOOK WHERE YOUR GOING!"

"Eh? AH! SHIT!"

Gc's ears perked up, "What the- !?!?" he muttered before a dark skinned boy with what he could tell- had scale markings on his head- fell on top of him, sending them both to the ground.

"Eh!? Gc, are you okay!?" The short blonde asked, staring at the two on the ground.

"Bloody 'ell you clumsy whelp.. I'm sorry about my brother." A calm and collected voice muttered, lifting up the dark boy by his shirt. "You are sorry, correct?" The 5'11 woman with light brown hair with purple ombre said lowly to him.

"Yeah, yeah 'm sorry.." The boy mumbled, getting dragged away by the elder.

"Damn she's surprisingly strong.." Klou muttered in surprise.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!

"WHAT THE HELL!?" The four all screamed in shock.

"Ah, so you guys are the new freshies, huh? That's the bell signaling that orientation is starting soon, the actual bell isn't as loud and doesn't sound like a cougar." A silver haired wolf beastman explained, "You all should probably head inside before Mr. Karasu gets pissed off, last thing you need is to get detention before school even starts, hah!"

"You clearly have gotten detention because you did the same thing as us, haven't you?" Klou asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, he has, now, I'm going to be nice and give you all five minutes to get inside because typically the bell rings on time, but the good-for-nothing principle isn't so, you can get inside and relax for about ten." A deep voice explained, what looks like a bird's skull covering half of his face.

"Heyyy, 'Karu~ It's been far too long! Say, have you been taking care of your wings, because they look especially good today-"

"Flattery won't do you any good Graymain," His left red wing flexed the beast man away, "now get in before I give you detention before the school year starts again for the 3rd year in a row."

"Third year in a row?" Gargoyle thought to herself, raising an eyebrow.

"Let's just go so that we don't get in trouble." Gc sighed, walking toward the entrance to the large school, luggage in tow.

"Good idea, kiddos." The teacher nodded in agreement, dragging the wolf boy with him by his grey jacket.

"Wow..this place is more crowded than I thought..." One voice said

"Well, what did you expect, it's the entrance ceremony for everyone, so of course it is!" Another voice replied to the first

"I want to go back home already!"

"Why didn't I pack snacks in my satchel.."

As the 6 of them had walked into the building they were met with the many voices all talking about different things, the occasional shrieks of terror, or scream of pain, and the occasional sobbing, whether the sobbing was from homesick, sadness or it was just the theater kids screwing with everyone, no one knew.

"Damn, this place is loud, I will admit that, but it's still quieter than when we went to Azenroth with Karma that one time and landed right in the middle of her fighting with Athen and my doppelganger in Azernoth." Klou mentioned looking around, straying from her friends.

"Klou, you pronounced it wrong, but yes, I will agree that was a strange...day.." Gargoyle started as she looked behind her where Klou was supposed to be and exhaled. "Shit.."

"Hm? What is it sis?" Giana asked her older sister.

"We already lost Klou." She replied to the younger.

Gc turned his head to look at Gargoyle and Giana, stopping in his tracks. "Giana, Gargoyle, you we LITERALLY right next to Klou! How did you end up losing her!?"

"Hey! Now we don't blame Giana for things that happen, she did nothing wrong!" The purple haired demoness said patting her younger sister's head.

Gc just rolled his eyes turning his head to the right. "How does one even lose someone with hot pink colored hair done in a hightail!?"

"You're asking me!?" Graymain asked glancing back.

"No one was talking to you." Giana replied blankly as she turned her head, giving the wolf boy the classic, small, unblinking child staring into your soul stare.

"R-right.. Sorry.." He apologized, backing away into the crowd.

"DEAR GOD HE'S HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!" A voice shrieked in the distance

"The hell!? Is this even a normal orientation!?"

A variety of panicked voices all started shouting, some going to the scene, others sitting by the snacks, some in the corner probably summoning a demon, oh, and of course what might have been a teacher snickering as he's eating from a bag of chips and..handing some to a blue octopus?

"Alright, alright, you kids can stop acting and go back to your rooms or the commons now!" The adult(?) shouted to the 2 closest to the male on the ground.

"Yes Headmaster!" The three shouted back, the boy that was on the ground had gotten up with ease waving as he left with the other two.

"Bloody theater kids.." Karasu muttered to himself as he dragged Graymain out of the entrance hall.

Silence. The crowd just stared blankly, starting to question life and that they just got pranked by three theater kids.

"Ahem, well, I do apologize for being late, and your older classmates for joking about such a serious matter." He began.

"Though I do believe I should introduce myself, I am your headmaster Serien Jelly..."

30 minutes later

"And that's that! I do hope that you all will have a good day, and have fun unpacking all of your belongings!" He ended as he turned around.

"That was it?"

"It appears so."

"That was surprisingly short."

"Right!?"

The room came back to life as the new students all started talking and heading to find a room that they will stay in for the next few years.

"We should probably try and find Klou now.. Right?" Gc asked Gargoyle

"Definitely." Gargoyle replied. "I take left, you take right?"

"Works for me." The brunet agreed, turning to the right of the crowd.

"Wait! What am I supposed to.. Oh. Well." Giana stood like she was rethinking all her life choices. "Well, I guess I'll be shoving our stuff in three different rooms." Giana said to herself, as she began figuring out how to take both her sister's and Gc's belongings.

"Hey! Can I ask you your name?"

"Eh? Sure! I'm Klou! What's your's?" Klou responded with a smile.

"I'm Millie!" The girl responded.

"Cool! What do you like to do, and what do you like?"

"I like to go surfing and I actually really like smoothies and MgBondalds happy meals!"

Klou gasped, "I haven't had MgBonalds in forever! Mostly because I've been too busy traveling and me and my friends don't really stay in one place for too long since some crazy prince that is obsessed with me keeps trying to kidnap me and make me his bride and puts be in these giant ball gown like wedding dresses that really aren't my style."

"Owch..Yeah, Bestie, I may have just met you not even 2 minutes ago, but giant ball gown style dresses just don't fit your style!" Millie replied, gesturing to Klou's grey and white V-neck tank top, shorts, and black Mary Jane pumps.

"Yeah, I prefer casual, though If I have to dress formal, it isn't all grand and extravagant, I just do above bare minimum, such as a nice dress what doesn't make me stand out with light make-up. Although, if it's for just in public for shopping I'm alright with going bold, or if it's just for funsies I will have my make-up pop!"

"That does make sense, with how gorgeous you look already."

Suddenly there was a loud crash!

"Never a dull moment in this school.." A woman with dark grey hair sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Truly, never a dull moment in this place is there.." A woman with dark grey hair sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "It seem's I'm going to be cleaning up this mess once again."

"Does this surprise us Genneva?" Karasu began as he walked towards her, "We are in the Chaos Land after all! Therefore we will never have a 'normal' day."

"Why thank you for stating the obvious, but I just want a day when the chaos is at it's lowest because this bullshit is starting to royally piss me off."

"Pun intended? Your highness." Karasu responded with a mocking tone at the end.

"I can have you thrown into a dungeon. So I would watch your tongue if I were you."

"UHM EXCUSE ME BUT ERM, DON'T YOU THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA TO HELP US!?" A male student shouted.

"Ah yes, I almost forgot that chaos that was currently coming about." Genneva said nonchalantly, turning her head towards the chaos

"How does one forget a literal DRAGON fell through the ceiling!?" One student shouted, motioning to the sapphire colored dragon laying in the room.

"Maylin," Genneva sighed, "Get up, transform back to your humanoid form, and apologize to all the student's that you startled, I also expect you to repair the ceiling that you fell through, do you understand?" Genneva scolded the dragon, crossing her arms.

"Y-yes Ms.Reveen.. I apologize." The dragonkin apologized, trying to mask the sound of fear as she converted back to a more humanoid form, horns, tail and slight patches of scales on her body still apparent. "It won't happen again, and my deepest apologies to everyone in this room, I hope you all can forgive me of intruding in such a..destructive way."

"Don't worry about it! It's happened to all us humanoid Dragonkin before, so no need to be ashamed that you transformed into your..larger dragon form when you shouldn't have!" A reassuring voice came from the crowd.

Maylin gave a soft smile towards the one who did her best to reassure her that It was alright and something to not be ashamed of as she walked to one of the exits towards the main building.

- - - - - - - - - - - -

"That was...something." Gargoyle said as her eyes followed the dragonkin that was leaving the room with ceiling debre on the floor.

"Yes, I do agree it was something indeed, I will admit that this was a great way to start off our first year here at the academia!" The boyish voice proudly said.

"Don't you mean Academy?" Gargoyle replied back.

"Ah- yes, this is an academy, not an academia. My mistake, It's just that in ****** we live by a prestigious academia" He began "So you can imagine how difficult it is to consider this an academy instead of an academia."

"What's the name of the academia?" Gargoyle asked.

"The Academia!"

"So..It's just called the academia.."

The boy didn't reply, instead he turned and walked away.

"Weirdo.. Hey, Giana we should probably start looking for-" She paused whipping her head to the sides a few times, 'Shit.. where the fuck did my little sister go!? I could have sworn she was right by me and yet she's not! I've already lost my sister in a place I barley know of!' Gargoyle thought with panic written all over her face.

"Lost someone?" A voice asked the demoness.

"How could you tell." She asked.

"I just could, don't worry I can help you track them. My name is Arie by the way." The white haired fox boy offered, bowing to her.

"Mmm.." Gargoyle sighed, "Alright, I guess I don't have any other option."

"Wonderful kleintje!" Arie smiled putting both of his hands together.

(Kleintjie is Dutch for young one)

"Eh...."

"Don't worry about it. Now can you tell me what the person you lost looks like and if possible what they typically smell like?"

"About 4'11, straight, yellow blond hair going just below her shoulders blue eyes, and she usually smells of a mix of penguin and mint."

Aire looked concerned, "Penguin and..mint." He asked.

"Yes, she has a pet penguin that she takes around with her everywhere, well, part of it is because the penguin is going through a divorce and she is there for support but that's a tale for another day. She does indeed smell like mint and penguin." The purple haired girl assured.

"All right, give me a moment."

'Tracking Snow!" Arie thought to himself as he used his tracking magic.

"Eleventh floor, room 35." Arie stated.

Gargoyle put a hand on her hip and leaned to the side, "Wow, that was fast." She said, impressed.

"Well, my tracking magic shows a path of snow where they went, and it shows exactly where they are, or went, even if they went to another galaxy, I will see a trail of snow to they're location." Arie explained, gesturing to the exit.

"Huh, y'know, you could be a great detective or something along those lines in the future."

"Heheh," He chuckled, "thank you for the compliment Gargoyle. Well, I believe this is where we part our ways, but don't worry, we will see each other again in the near future." Arie calmly said turning around waving at Gargoyle.

"Well then, I know where I'm going..ish; WAIT! How did he know my name? I never told him it"' She though to herself with confusion as she walked towards where Arie pointed. 'I hope there's numbers or something on what floor is what and room.'

Earlier

"Let's see, I think sis would like this room." Giana said to herself proudly as she set her older sister's suitcase and two duffel bags in the middle of the red walled room. "Not sure where she would want her bed, so I should probably just throw the boxes on the ground and put sticky notes on them in case they aren't labeled. Yeah, this is a great idea!"

"Giana, didn't you say you were going to throw Gargoyle, Klou, Gc and our stuff into different rooms? I don't think you should work on setting boxes in your sister's room." A penguin with a top hat said to the blond, crossing it's flippers.

"Ah! Right, your right Penguin, I totally forgot that was what I was planning on doing, heh." Giana replied to the penguin as she glanced to the other luggage she set by the door temporarily. "Welp, time to find a room for Gc then for us! Unless we find a room we both like, then we can put our stuff in that room then everyone else's in a room."

The penguin just nodded as a sign of agreeance.

Now

Gargoyle jogged through the red granite halls and weaving through the people as she looked for a staircase.

'Ah! Here's one!'

25 Minutes later

"Ugh..these damn stairs. You would think that there was some sort of elevator or hell, a damn escalator?!" Gargoyle thought to herself as she attempted to go up the white marble stairs, though it was a bit of a challenge due to the amount of people going up them as well to find a room.

"Honestly, they should just assign us a room instead of having us fend for ourselves!" One voice groaned in frustration.

"I agree, this is bullshit!" Another agreed.

"Yeah, but where's the fun in knowing where we're going? They're also giving us a week to unpack, settled in, and get to know the layout of the Academy!" Another voice shouted in reply.

"Fuck you! Your name's probably Gavin!"

"It's Gerald, Veronica!"

"My name is NOT Veronica!"

"Your giving bitchy Veronica vibes!"

"My name is Kitty!"

"HAH! 'UWU' GIRL!"

"What in the ever-loving hell.." Gargoyle muttered to herself as she was starting to question what school she had gotten herself in as she listened to Kitty and Gerald's arguing from hell knows where in the hall, or stair case, she wasn't sure anymore from the amount of people around her.

Penguin's POV

"Hey! Penguin, what room do you think Klou would like? I mean, it's not like we have a lot of options, but at the same time we do have a lot of options." Giana asked me as we walked through the halls.

"Well, I believe that she would like a room with windows that she can look out of, and one where she can use part of the room to store all the things she owns." I replied

"Yeah! She would like that! You have amazing Idea's Penguin." Giana praised.

"Of course I do. Though..Shouldn't we claim a room before Gc's? It would make more sense considering Klou may have already found a room." I asked the young girl.

"Yes that is true, but if we do that I'd probably forget that I'm shoving more than just my stuff into rooms."

"I would remind you." I replied.

"That is true- Ooh! That looks like a good room, don't you think?" Giana asked as she tilted herself on her right leg, having her body half inside the empty room, and half outside it as she pointed down the hall to a room that was yellow on the inside and had a table and stools already set inside them, though the room was clearly vacant.

"Well, I think it would be a good room, though it is also your room so you also need to make the call on whether we want the room."

"Fair enough. Though, should we just look around more first?"

"I think we may have found Klou's room- as long as she doesn't already have one. It's right by ours and the fact I can see inside I can tell that she would most likely like the room." I stated pointing my flipper to the room that was next door to the room that I and Giana had found.

"Just looking inside it looks promising! Yeah! I'mma put Klou's stuff in that room, I'm certain she'll enjoy it!" Giana exclaimed, moving me off of the suitcase and setting me on the ground before she suddenly stopped mid step, "I don't have her stuff."

"Hey kid, are..you okay?" Someone asked Giana right as she stepped into the door frame.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm alright, why do you ask?" She asked, turning her head to the boy who was wearing a maroon vest with white. It was most likely a school jacket.

"Your talking to a bird as if you can understand it."

"Of course I can understand her! Can't you?" Giana asked the boy.

"No, I can't, but more importantly why are you here little girl? You don't seem gifted and your sure as hell aren't old enough to be here." The boy teased as he leaned against the door frame.

"Just because I'm 11 doesn't mean that I'm not old enough to be at this school; and yes, I am indeed gifted, most people just can't see it!" She exclaimed with annoyance.

"Oh come on kid, your 11 and talk to an animal I'm sure you don't even understand! Besides-"

"Besides what? My parents have allowed me to be traveling with my sister for the past 4 years! I've gone to hell and back, quite literally, fallen into a giant washer, helped create a monstrosity of an oven and more! What have you done? Been a pretty frat boy who grew up in a rich family and thinks he's all high and mighty because of his status and that he's an upperclassman- and oh, you also play the concussion game that people like for some reason, don't you?" Giana snapped at the boy giving him a doll like smile.

'Good human, you've learned well.' I thought to myself smiling internally.

"Why you little shit. I was trying to be nice, but it appears you don't have any respect for your elders. I promise you," He said, bending down to meet her level, "I will give you hell for the years you will be here, I won't give you any rest, I promise you that kid."

"Ooooh, I'm soooo scared." Giana sarcastically said, bringing her hands up and smirking.

"Giana? Shit- Giana there you are! I've been looking for you!"

'Well, there's Gargoyle.' I thought as my beaded eyes looked to the door frame as a shadow approached.

The way the boys irritated fact fell to one of fear was almost comical once she glanced at the dark purple haired demoness walking towards him and Giana. It almost seemed he was going to take off running in seconds from the fear in his eyes.

"This jackass threatened me." Giana nonchalantly said pointing at him.

"Is that so.." Gargoyle smiled.

"Yes, I can confirm that he has been threatening Giana for the past 7 minutes while we were just trying to mind out own business." I said to the older woman.

"Can you translate what the penguin said please?" Gargoyle asked her sister.

"Am I really the only one who can understand Penguin..?" Giana asked with a confused look on her face.

"Yes, you are Giana. Most people can't understand animals, let alone penguins. So yes, you are the only one who can understand me." I explained.

"Huh.. I knew I was gifted in some way."

"This is just one of the few ways, the other one being you can learn quickly."

As the penguin and Giana kept talking towards each other Gargoyle was speaking with the boy who was threatening her sister.

Gargoyle's POV

"So, my sister said you were threatening her? To do what, and why?" I asked bringing my hand to his shoulder and gripping it, then shove him into the granite wall, "And tell me what your name is."

"Hmph! Why should I tell anyone of the likes you my name? I'm certain you've heard of my family, after all we are quite a well known family."

"Last name? It might ring a bell."

"I'm apart of the Kingslocke family."

"Ohh! I know who you are, your part of the family that was trying to force my friend into a marriage to become queen! Multiple times!" I said with venom in my voice as I smiled at him. "While I don't know your name, I really don't care because we're on bad terms with your damn family. So if you could kindly piss off and leave us be that would be great. Thanks!"

"Ugh! The amount of DISRESPECT your giving me! I could have you executed if I wanted." He yelled as his face started to turn red from anger.

"Oooh, I'm soo scared, haha." I said sarcastically while grinning.

'Ugh, I'm already sick of seeing that smirk and that sarcastic tone.'

"Oi, kids! Enough fighting!" A familiar deep voice shouted at the two.

"Ah, Mr. Karasu, hello again." I said looking at him.

"Yes, hello to you too kid. Now, tell me why the hell you two have been fighting." Mr. Karasu said, folding his arms with a displeased look on his face, that we could see.

"This man has been harassing me and threatening me when I was just trying to find rooms for me and Penguin, my sister, best friend and other friend." Giana explained pointing at the boy.

Mr. Karasu sighed, "Of course It was Alexander. Do your best to pay no attention to the prick, he thrives on attention, and if he does anything else in terms of harassment and threatening, or if he goes through with the threats, beat the shit out of him or run to me and I'll deal with him."

The penguin says something in pengunish.

"I am aware that I'm a terrible teacher but I do not care, penguin." Karasu replied to the penguin.

"You can also understand Penguin?!" Giana said with surprise.

"Yes, I can, I am part of a bird beastman I guess, so I can understand most birds. Most days it's a curse but at times It's useful."

"Cool!" Giana squealed with stars in her eyes.

"Well, I guess this is where I take my leave, but mark my words kid, keep them in mind." Alexander muttered walking down the marble stairs.

"Jackass! I hope you trip and fall down these long stairs!" Giana said grinning as the annoying boy descended down the stairs.

"And I hope you choke on a lemon!" He retorted back.

"Jokes on you, I'm not allowed to have lemons since last time I bleached Klou's hair with lemons!" Giana yelled back at the edge of the steps.

"I...what?" Mr.Karasu muttered in confusion as he looked at me.

"Don't...ask." I replied recalling the incident when my sister somehow bleached Klou's hair with lemons.

"Honestly, all of you just need to shut up, the fact that you got into a fight with your upperclassman before your school year has even started is disappointing. I don't have much hope for this year's batch of students." The voice of a mature woman sighed in disappointment, her heels clicking on the marble-granite mix floor.

"Ms. Hellena."

"Mr. Karasu." The woman acknowledged.

"Who is this pretty lady?" Giana asked looking at the woman with light brown hair that was done in a half-up half-down ponytail.

"Thank you for the compliment young one, but I am one of your teachers."

"Wait- your a teacher?? You look like an upperclassman by how young you look." Gargoyle mentioned taken aback.

"Yes, well being a fae will do that to you, but I can assure you that I am your teacher and far older than I look."

"How old exactly?" Giana asked.

"Giana!" Gargoyle smacked her sister beside the head, "That's not appropriate to ask teachers!"

"Four Hundred and eleven." The teacher answered.

"Yes, Ms. Hellena seems old to most, she's actually in her prime." Mr. Karasu said poking Hellena's forehead.

"And your considered to barley be a teen for how old you are." She retorted smacking his hand away.

As the two teachers started bickering about who knows what, Gargoyle, Giana and Penguin decided to start working on putting Giana's stuff into the room her and Penguin found.

"Huh, y'know you found a good room for Klou, has a lot of space, and has a great view to the outside." Gargoyle spoke, looking out of one of the windows to the people running around with torches and flags, almost looking like they were doing a summoning ritual. 'That's probably normal.' She thought to herself.

"Hehe~ Yep! I have a good taste in finding thing's, don't I?" Giana smiled with pride.

"Yes, you do have quite the good taste." Gargoyle smiled, glancing back towards her sister.

"Hmh, so that's where you two have been." The very familiar muffled voice spoke to the two girls.

"Ah! Gc! Hi, It's been a little while." Giana cheerfully greeted the beastman.

"I was looking for all my stuff which seems to be in here for some reason."

"Ah, I told you guys that I was going to find rooms for all of us, so that's what I was doing."

"You..never said anything to us."

"Probably didn't hear me. Eh, your fault for not hearing me." Giana shrugged as she sat on the bare mattress

"It was a loud as hell room, HOW would we have heard you Giana" Gargoyle explained with annoyance as she slid and gave Gc his bags."

"...."

"Exactly."

"Thanks for my bags." Gc nodded to Gargoyle, taking his bags.

"Yep." She nodded.

As Gc left he sighed through his mask, acknowledging the figure near him. "Never a dull moment here."

"No, there really isn't, and It's going to be much worse than what you have ever experienced."

"I doubt it, but I've learned to trust your judgement."

Gargoyle poked her head out the door, "Hey..your not starting to hear voices like Klou, correct? Because if so, I think we need to get you enrolled into therapy."

Gc twisted his neck to look at the demoness who now had only aqua eyes, "No..I'm not hearing anything, thanks for worrying."

Gargoyle didn't look convinced but slid back into the room to continue helping her sister and her..pet?

"Huh.. The fact I can't navigate this place better than a castle, manor or giant house certainly is something." I muttered to myself as I walked down a kinda empty hall as my mary janes click on the floor. "Hey, Narrator, can you give me a bit of help with finding where Giana and Gargoyle are? I know your not supposed to tell us book characters this but can you do me a solid please!"

"Narrator..?" One asked to them self.

"She's probably Schizophrenic, don't pay mind to her." A male voice said

"Probably think's she's the main character or something." Another voice said

"It's probably 6th grade syndrome of something." Another mentioned.

'I'm not as insane as people might think.' I thought to myself, "Say, readers, do you think I'm insane? I promise I'm not, and I am well aware this is a story following me and my friends with the many adventures of us in this Academy."

"Uhhh..You okay..?" A girl mentioned poking my left shoulder.

I turned around to see who poked me, "Hm!? Oh, yeah, I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" I asked.

"Well, you were just.." She pulled me close, "Breaking the 4th wall, you know we're not supposed to do that! We don't need to be re-written, or worse! Erased from the story and never mentioned again, or we get killed off in a later chapter!" She whisper shouted to me in slight panic with worry in her amber eyes.

"Oh please, I've done this multiple times! I haven't gotten killed off because I'm the main character in this book! As well as the prequel that I believe hasn't been written yet because the Creator had started struggling with writing the prequel and started writing the sequel before the prequel for some reason. I mean, I get it, writing is hard and from what little I remember from the prequel it was quite chaotic and I can see why this was made and focused on more than the prequel."

"I see, well, just be careful okay? And, please try not get me killed off or erased! Please!" The girl pleaded to me.

"Yeah, I'll do my best to keep you from being erased or killed off, unnamed character!" I smiled patting her hazel hair.

"Got it! Well, If you need help with anything or need to say anything my room is on floor x and my room number is **."

"Understood. Well, good bye! I have to look for my room now..and where my stuff went..Heh."

"You..lost your stuff?" The unnamed character asked me, "You know once we claim our dorm room it automatically gets teleported there."

"Well,..no. I did not know that. But I don't even have a roo- ..." I pause for a moment. "I..do have a room..?" I ask nervously.

"You do now. Well you should look for Arie, he will help you find them. He can find anyone! Regardless of what dimension they are in."

"Ooo, that's cool! What does he look like?" I asked with a bit of sparkles somehow popping up around my head as my eyes turned to stars.

"Snow white hair, matching ears and tail that are very fluffy, fair skin and he has a light creme sweater, much like overly milked coffee."

"Okay, one, if you have that much milk in your coffee, that ain't coffee, that's just milk with a few drops of coffee. Two, I think I've seen him briefly around the halls but I'm not sure."

"He speaks in Dutch, looks and sounds surprisingly charming, and helping the new students, it's hard to miss him."

"Heheh, why thank you for the compliment, *******"

"AH! Mr. Aire! Hello! When did you get here?" ******* asked the while haired fox boy.

"I just got here because I heard my name, and that my assistance was needed." The boy begane.

'Wow, Xxxxxx wasn't kidding, he is charming and has such a calming and smooth voice.' I thought to myself. 'Oh, and you guys are probably wondering why ******'s name isn't being said, well, I'm not entirely sure, it's probably because The Creator is trying to hide her name for some reason, might be because she's important later in the story and The Creator is Keeping the ******** **** ********* *** **** *******- .... Nevermind, I'll just let you guys continue with the reading since I'm being censored for whatever reason.'

"And since I heard my name being called I came to help, now, could you tell me your name jonge dame?" Aire asked me taking my hand and lightly kissing my knuckles. 'Ahhh! Such a gentleman!'

"A-ah..My name is Cloud! No! It's Cthulhu! No! UH! Shit.." I stutter.

"Heh, It's alright," He chuckled lightly, "If you can't say your name that's quite alright jonge dame. Could you describe who your looking for instead?" He asked.

I saw the hazel haired girl slink away giving me a look that said, "We'll meet again, maybe when we can't be heard."

"Uh, the person I'm looking for has purple hair, red and light blue eyes, usually light blue when she's calm, but when she's stressed it's heterocromia of both colours. Oh, and she has horns and a little sister who's yellow-blonde and has a pet penguin!" I described my friends to the boy and held up my fingers as a sign of horns.

"Hm, I actually just finished talking with her. Gargoyle, correct? She is currently on floor 4 room 23 which is your room, which her sister chose for you."

"Alright, thank you!" I said bowing my head down.

"Your quite welcome, Klou." Aire replied walking away.

As I was about to walk a staircase I realized something: 'I never told him my name! I stuttered my name and told him two different things! How did he know my name? There's no way.

Whatever, I'm just gonna wander around and probably stray away from what I'm supposed to do because why focus on the main quest when I can do side quests! Yeah, I'mma do that and shut up so you guys can learn about the area so you can attempt to picture it since you guys know nothing about what the Academy looks like.'

As I was walking around the red granite halls I never really noticed the diverse amount of races here, some humanoid dragonborn, wolf, cat, rabbit, beastman, hybrid characters. I saw someone sitting on one of the benches that was attached to the wall with a pitbull for a service dog, resting it's head on her leg as she pet it on it's head.

I saw a Crocodile Faery that looked confused as to why he was here. As I walked outside onto the stone tiles I saw a table with a group of no older than 6 year old playing tea party with each other and their stuffies. Ahh, how adorable they looked.

"Om, Miss?" I heard as a small child tugged on my tank top.

"Yes?" I replied, crouching down to meet the small bunny girl at eye level.

"Would you like to have tea with us?" She asked me with one of the brightest smiles I've seen in a while. "We have peppermint and lemon tea and bwueberry scones and little cakes Momma made!"

"Ah.." I pondered for a second, while I need to go find my room, I couldn't say no to the small girl asking me to have tea with her and her friends, "I'd love to!" I replied, mimicking her smile.

"Yay! Wir haben einen neuen Freund, den wir den Göttern opfern können!"

"???" I didn't understand what the girl had to say but It seemed positive!

"Look! Ella brought a new friend!"

"Ahh~ She looks so pretty!"

"Thank you little ones." I smiled as I sat down, the 4 of them seemed overjoyed to see someone having tea with them.

"How much sugar do you like, miss?" A boy asked

"Dummie, shouldn't we know her name first before we ask how much sugar she likes!" A orange haired girl smacked the boy's forehead.

"Hehe, my names Klou, and I like a lot of sugar." I answered her question.

"Alright, and do you want lemon tea?"

"Yes, please."

"Alright!" The girl with lavender hair cheered pouring me lemon tea.

"Hey, uhh, you with the hot pink hair!" Someone shouted for me.

"Yeah?" I asked looking behind at the person who was picking me up like a cat. "Where are you taking me?! I was ha-"

"Having tea with 5 small children no older than 6? Don't! They aren't children and what you just about ingested would have knocked you the fuck out and we would probably be eating you for dinner and we wouldn't know it was a person. Or, if you weren't turned into food, you would be found completely mauled with limbs sticking out and your flesh torn and organs ripped out or partially ripped out. Those aren't children. We don't know what they are but they sure are hell aren't human, and we don't know how to get rid of them. So If you ever find a group of children no older than 6 without a parent or teacher, run. Got it?" What I assumed was a teacher explained to me.

"All..right then, but who are you, and can you put me do-"

The sound of a gunshot and his head being blown off his shoulders, and I being rushed into someone's arms in trade of what I thought was a teacher.

"That wasn't a teacher, that was one of them!" A girl wearing a black crop top and black ripped jeans shouted at me.

"One of them?" I asked.

"Your a bloody witch! How can you not realize that those were cursed spirits?!" She shouted at me while putting me down.

"How...did you know.." I muttered with slight fear.

"Honey, I'm also one, and besides, I had a vision that an unordinary pink-haired witch was to be coming here, and while I generally wouldn't care, you kept appearing in the visions, and no ordinary witch does that. You're one who refuses to acknowledge your power because even your afraid of it." She explained, putting her white hair into a messy top knot. "And besides, most witches don't have a natural hair color, while for some people, yes it is normal for them to have natural exotic hair colors, but witches, our hair changes when we have a true explosion of our magic."

I never felt so exposed, while yes, I do use magic, but it's hardly ever, and even if I do use my magic it's just minor levitation spells or something to make minor light orbs. I've never told anyone about where I came from, who my parents were, anything! So how did someone I've never met read me like an open book, but instead of a middle chapter, it's the beginning that I thought I tore out.

"I apologize for talking about your past without permission, but I do want to know something," She began, pulling my attention back to her, "Did you know they were harmful spirits that could kill you, or did you not know. Answer truthfully."

After a few moments of silence I finally replied quietly, "Yes, I knew they were harmful spirits."

She sighed, "Alright Klou; now that I know that you intentionally wanted to be killed I suppose I should tell you my name now. My name is Alice."

"Wait..How did you know my name Alice? I've met 3 people, you included, who already know my name and I never told them." I explained balling one of my hands into a fist.

"... Well Klou, If you ever need anything or need to talk, or if you need help with basic spells, my room is on floor 9, room 498. If you struggle with finding it it's over there." Alice explained ignoring my question, pointing to a tower-like thing that seemed very..weirdly built considering there was a bunch of different colors, the architecture was strange and some of the building supports was sticking out or not even covered. That's probably safe.

"Yes, I know the dorm thing doesn't look that grand but I promise you it is," Alice explained, turning towards it, "Oh, and feel free to drop by on the weekends, we talk to spirits and study the stars at midnight."

"Alright, I'll keep that in mind!" I shouted as I waved and turned the opposite way going back to the main building.

'She ignored my question about me asking how people already know my name. I've never seen them before. Eh, it's probably something that has to do with the plot.' I thought to myself as I walked along the stone walkway.

"This school is a complete mess in terms of how it's built and what materials were used, but I don't mind it, that's what makes it unique!"

"Ah, well when a group of about 10 teenagers has no idea how construction works and just find random materials, what do you expect?" A familiar boyish voice, chimed in.

"Well, yeah that makes sense considering me, Gargoyle, Gc, and Giana all made a giant monstrosity of an oven we lived in a for a few years. Though, Gc always made great things such as a giant van, but he also did make a Microwave that spun us around on a plate and kept us kinda warm...now that I think about it he may have slowly been trying to kill us, but eh! We're completely fine!"

"Yes, If you're here you should be alive. Unless your not, then your not alive and just a wandering spirit that for some reason refuses to go to the next life, but what do I know, I haven't died yet! 'N the spirits here refuse to talk to me so I can't really help them."

"A group of them that looked like they were 6 and what I thought was a teacher tried killing me."

"Yes, regretfully there are those types of spirits here."

"Well, my name's Klou what's your-" I stopped mid sentence, It was the principle that's been walking next to me eating potato chips and handing one to the blue squid on his head.

"Sirien, It's a pleasure to meet you in person Ms.Nightbloom." Sirien smiled.

"How do some people know so much about me, I met a girl who knew a bit about my past a bit, who I exactly am and now four people know my name even though I haven't told them!" I said in slight panicky confusion.

"Hm? Well, that's because they're staff members and some of them actually glance through the files of the students to know if we should have them entered into the school, and for some of the staff members, you stuck with them, and they took interest in you. I have no idea why, but they did. Well... Yea, no, I got nothing, I only know the names of my students because Ms. Reveen nags me about stuff all the time." He explained biting another chip. "Want one? It's Sour Cream and Onion!" He offered holding a chip out to me.

"Sure, I haven't really eaten much now that I think about it, heh.." I muttered taking the ship and shoving it in my mouth.

"Hm? Well, I can show you the cafeteria if you need something to eat."

"I..couldn't! You're a teacher and it'd make me feel bad about-" I was saying before I was cut off.

"Nonsense! I know Pride is something that gets in the way of things, but cast it aside," He put an arm around my shoulder "I don't need a student passing out from lack of food! Then again... A student getting killed is also not a good thing, especially on the first day of school but there's absolutely no reason to look into any of that! C'mon Ms.Nightbloom, the cafeteria is right around the corner so you can get something to eat, here!" The principal said in a joyful manner while shoving probably about 50 dollars in my hand.

"I- Wait! I can't accept this! Hey! Mr. Sirien!" I tried calling out to him to explain I didn't need this much for lunch, but he had already run off. "Well...May as well get lunch..." I thought to myself walking around the corner.

As I walked into the cafeteria- which was easy to find since it had a sign that said "Cafetearia". That wasn't spelt correctly but that's probably fine- I heard the sound of screaming and something metal being thrown.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! YOU CHEATED ON ME WITH A FIRST YEAR ON THE FIRST DAY THEY CAME HERE! THAT'S IT! WE'RE OVER!" A girl screamed throwing a metal tray at a boy who was probably her boyfriend.

"W-wait! Celene! I can explain!"

"No! You don't get any chance to explain! What you did is disgusting! How many other women have you cheated on me with!? How much of a PLAYER are you!?"

"THAT'S MY SISTER, CELENE! I WAS SHOWING HER AROUND!"

"THAT'S WHAT YOU SAID LAST YEAR AND YET YOU CLAIM YOU HAVE ANOTHER SISTER!?"

"Sweet home Alabama~" Someone sang in the background.

"Shut the FUCK up!"

"Is lunch like this all the time..?" Klou thought to herself as she watched whatever was going on unfold as she wandered towards the lunch bar.

"Celene Maxin and Adrian Keely! Enough scaring the new students!" A teacher shouted at the two as a grin grew on the two of their faces.

"Oh come on teach! Where's the harm in it? We're just having a bit of fun!"

"Pretending that you were dating a first year on the first day of their arrival then pretending to be in a relationship with Celene and turning this into an angry Spanish Soap Opera is not the way to go for attention!" She chided.

"How else are we supposed to get more people to join the theater club though?" Adrian asked putting a hand on his hip.

"Yeah!" Celene agreed mimicking Adrian.

"If you want to get more people in the Theater club, please don't make a huge scene and unnecessarily scare people! Recruit people like the other clubs do, have posters up and people recommending it and telling them about the club."

"But don't aren't we told to always to show your work when doing an assignment? We're just showing what we do rather than telling them and it not being the same thing we say we're going to do but then it's actually more boring than what was advertised." Adrian explained

Absolute silence.

"Keely, Maxin, detention, NOW!" The teacher screamed.

"Fine, well! I hope you guys take the Theater Club into consideration after you've seen the example we gave!" Adrian bowed taking his leave with a shit-eating grin that said, "It was worth getting detention."

"I hope you don't get Ms. Opal for Math, she's awful and grades you horribly and breaks your mental stability, there isn't one person who doesn't walk out of that room that is crying." A black cat beastman mention to Klou as he rested his chin on her shoulder, "Oh, and I recommend getting the Chicken Caesar Salad, it's absolutely delicious, and helps with mana regeneration."

Klou jumped at the suddenness of someone talking so close to her and feeling a hot breath on her neck, "R-really? That actually sounds good, thank's for the recommendation for food and..for warning me about that teacher. She seemed really..Strict."

'Why is my heart beating so fast?!'

"She is, and she hates the Principle because of how laid back he is, hell, she's WORSE than Ms. Raveen! And Ms. Raveen gives out homework for the weekend!"

"That's..." Klou mumbled with a look of concern.

"Sorry! I shouldn't be scaring my underclassman before classes even start!" The cat beastman put a hand on his chest, "The name's Felix." He apologized, ears folding down lightly.

"That's alright, I should probably know a bit about my teacher's beforehand so I can see if my schedule can be changed if need be, and my name's Klou."

"A pleasure to meet you Klou, if you'd like I would be glad to accompany to eat lunch with you." He offered with a closed-lip smile.

Klou's face started to turn pink, "Sure! I wouldn't mind." 'Shit, are all the beastmen so charming and minorly flirty AND good looking!?' She internally asked herself.

"Well, what are your interests Klou?" Felix asked sitting down with his lunch and bringging his hand to his cheek.

"Well..." She thought for a second, "I like shooting fireworks off and being with friends as well as traveling!"

"I enjoy traveling as well! I've actually traveled a lot since I was young due to my father's job. Even though I've pretty much been everywhere, you would think I would get bored if I go back to the same place every few years, but no. I enjoy taking in the scenery and seeing my friends I made."

"I've also been traveling around the world for years now, and this is probably the first time I'm getting proper education..heh." Klou chuckled shoving a piece of chicken in her mouth,

"Hm, this chicken really is good!"

"I told you the salad was good."

"Healthy but tastes absolutely amazing!"

Felix leaned in his palm and smiled, "If you would like I could get you a piece of New Orley cheesecake if you would-"

"Am I interrupting something here?" A familiar purple eared cat boy asked with mild annoyance, slamming his hand on the table, looking at Klou.

"Hm? No?"

"Hm, well If your done eating, let's go, Gargoyle said she'd send the penguin after you if you didn't start unpacking your room soon." Gc huffed through his mask, pulling Klou away from the table.

"But I wasn't-"

"Ah...Well, farewell Klou." Felix waved disheartened.

After Gc had gotten Klou out of the cafeteria and in the middle of the sidewalk Klou pulled away.

"What the hell Gc! I wasn't done eating!" Klou said with annoyance in her voice.

"Mmn...I gave you the explanation you needed," He rolls his eyes, "Gargoyle said that she would send the penguin after you for you to start unpacking." Gc raised his voice.

"Bullshit! Gargoyle would hunt me down herself!" Klou shouted back.

"Whatever, you should just go start unpacking your room now, It's on the eleventh floor of the main building, room 35." He huffed.

Somewhere not near the main street

"Ah, young love." Karasu muttered.

"I'm already betting that Ms. Nightbloom and Mr. ****** will get together." Siren mentioned poking a piece of watermelon in his mouth. "Now that I mention it, you should take some time off and find someone for yourself Karu~!"

"No," He sighed, "I don't have much use for a partner at the moment and I have no interest in traveling."

"Sirien is right, you should at least take a few days off to keep yourself, we can manage detention and physical education while you take a week off." Geneeva said to Karasu while pondering weather to pour a cup of black coffee or just drink from the pot.

"Not you as well Ms. Raveen." Karasu groaned

"Your young Karu, you shouldn't have lived as an adult when you were born. You shouldn't have had to..but your parent insisted it would be alright if you stayed." Sirien mentioned, his violet eyes dulling as he began remembering the past.

"Hmh." Karasu slammed his hands on the table as he got up, "I'm going to go now, all you are giving me in pressure into doing something I don't want to do." and he then stormed off. "Can't even eat lunch in piece." He grumbled as she walked through the red granite halls.

"Ugh! Honestly Gc, am I not allowed to make other friends or not!?" Klou shouted at Gc, "I know who's safe or not, I'm aware of who can kill me or not and who would take advantage of me!"

"I have no idea where you thought you got the idea that I'm keeping you from making new friends, I was just telling you to go to your room." He huffed, ears twitching.

"He's totally jealous that you were talking with another guy that was flirting with you." A girl with long black hair shouted as she quickly walked pass them.

"Miricle! How many times have I told you to stop interfering with the main character and the love interest!" A boy yelled chasing after the girl who was apparently named Miricle.

"Love interest...?" Klou blushed in bewilderment.

"Main character...?" Gc muttered in confusion.

"Whatever! That's not important," She shook her head, "What's important is that you're keeping me from spending my time how I want to!"

"I'm doing no such thing!"

"He totally is!" The same girl who walked pass them shouted from afar.

"Ugh, whatever." Gc huffed pulling Klou by her wrist, "Come on, let's go."

"Hey!" She protested trying to pull away from him.

"Hm, well, well. He seems protective of her. Quite unusual considering normal house cats don't have a specific mate, and yet he's acting like she's his. Hm, interesting." Felix thought to himself while grinning.

"For those who want the truth revealed, opened hearts and secrets unsealed, from now until it's now again, after which the memory ends, so magic secrets remain secure, I seek the truth for reasons pure, speak the truth!" Klou muttered the incantation.

Gc's eyes suddenly widened as the feeling of his voice being shoved up his through arose

"Tell me the truth, what is the real reason you pulled me away."

"It's....It's because.." Gc spoke, his pupils blowing wide as his body visibly relaxed, "I don't want-"

"Where the hell have you two been!?" A familiar voice shouted.

"Ah! Gargoyle, hi!" Klou waved as the purple haired demoness emerged from a corner of a building.

Gargoyle sighed crossing her arms, "Honestly, I thought you of all people could get me, Giana and the penguin lunch without issues."

"So..you did send Gc to come fetch me?"

"No, not really. I did mention that if he did find you to drag you back so you can see your room Giana picked out for you. You do remember that you need a dorm room right?"

Silence

"ACK- RIGHT! I FORGOT THAT!" Klou shouted in panic, "I'm gonna go buy some sort of good fish and some Milky Way's for Giana as a thank you!"

And just as she was just there, she took off running to the right, black mary janes clacking against the stone walkway.

Gargoyle sighed, "Silly girl. By the way, did you find the cafeteria?"

"Hm? Oh, yeah. I did, Klou was eating lunch with some other guy, probably an upperclassman." Gc grumbled looking to the side.

"Aww, is someone jealous that someone might take his crush away~" Gargoyle teased, grinning with a glint in her eyes that said, "Imagine getting this jealous over a new friend of hers!"

"I have no idea what you're talking about," He chuckled, his violet ears pinning down lightly, "Anyways, the cafeteria...? I'm not entirely sure if it can ever be considered a cafeteria rather than a restaurant considering its a separate building from the main one." He mentioned, walking past Gargoyle, "You coming or what?" He asked glancing back.

"!!"

Klou sighed "I don't even know if there's a school store and yet I said I was going to go buy Gia and Penguin some fish and Milky Way's..." she pouted as she started walking aimlessly for a while.
