Each of his attacks takes away a chunk off the Health bar of the event boss monster, the fight has only been ongoing for a few seconds but the monster already lost his first bar.

"Damn it! Madara or whatnot! if we don't do something he is going to take everything for himself!"

"Then what do you plan to do? join? do you want to die?"

"That is a fight of two monsters! I'm going to run right now, I'll just think of it as my bad luck today"

As the guy who said that finished speaking, he immediately started retreating back from the battlefield, the other guys who also know the horror of Madara started retreating, as for those who didn't know, they were very confused about what to do.

But in the end, looking at the destructive battle in front of them they decided to retreat, Tanaka of course noticed all of this but he was thinking of a different thing.

It was this event mob, from it looks like, he was the specific target of this monster, it even went as far to come to him and destroy the inn he was resting.

And his assumptions got strongest as he noticed that it ignored the other players around them, there is no such thing as aggro in the game, the monsters only attack what's around them and some of the intelligent ones even go for the low health ones.

But this monster was clearly intelligent but it insisted on fighting Tanaka.

He now had a hunch that this was either work of Kayaba or the Tanaka guy, but seeing how this monster was, this is definitely the work of Kayaba, since he disappeared for a year, Kayaba decided to see what Tanaka was doing.

Think of it as a welcome party for Tanaka, anyway, focus on fighting.

Tanaka noticed that the strength of the monster started increasing, its attack was getting more powerful and its also getting faster in attacking, at first its strength was on par with the 49th-floor boss but now its strength is on par with a 60th-floor monster.

Knowing this, Tanaka decided to take it seriously, his scythe started glowing black as he activated one of his skills.

Tanaka disappeared from his position as if the time stopped and reappeared behind the monster, raising the scythe high up, the figure of grim reaper appeared behind him, with a swing, Tanaka brought down death from above.

The attack slashed the monster in half and a huge red slash mark appeared on the chest of the monster.

A huge amount of damage came from Tanaka's skill that it took almost the whole bar of the monster.

"2 left, then lets use another one"

Tanaka charged towards the monster once again with his scythe glowing in black color, the monster seems enraged and attacked Tanaka only for it to be dodged skillfully then be counterattacked.

The fierce battle was seen by every player from far away and they were all astounded by what they were seeing.

"A Monster! that Madara is really a monster! he is just bullying an event boss with that powerful strength!"

Everyone gulped as they saw this, it was far beyond their reach, the people who call them frontlines couldn't also say anything, they though they were the pillar of the humans in this game to clear the tower but seeing Madara they were just a joke.

Even Asuna who was part of the people who want to join the event was part of the people watching in the backlines, she couldn't help but clench her fist as she watches this.

"Too powerful, I want to be as strong as him"

She couldn't help but wish to have the same strength as him, if she could then maybe she could escape her fate.

*Boom!

With a loud explosion, the monster exploded into golden lights indicating it has been defeated, the white snow that has been raining down has turned its color to golden, everyone felt it was very mystical.

Meanwhile, Tanaka who just defeated the boss started picking up the rewards he received.

Nicholas the Renegade dropped a lot of items, ranging from weapons to armor, there are also some candy and chocolates which was something that Tanaka picked up in a haste.

Those are most precious than these rare armors and weapons, there are also some rare materials but Tanaka doesn't have any use for them as of yet now, then he noticed one more item on the ground.

Tanaka immediately ignored the item, even though it may seem precious to other players but for Tanaka who has an automatic revive, this item seemed to be a cheap knock-off.

Anyway, he may use it one day so he doesn't plan to sell it, anyway, his next goal will be to clear the floor boss, he doesn't have anything to do anymore so it was time to go there.
