THE UNCANNY EVENT

For five days, Scarlett was lost in her thoughts, wholly engrossed in her fixation on a specific individual. It reached a point where she struggled to distinguish between what was real and what was simply a figment of her imagination. Her main issue stemmed from the fact that the person she fixated on was intangible, and as a result, not a tangible reality. Despite this, she persisted in asking various questions to the individual but found that there was no concrete reality to grasp to hold on to her.

To her surprise, the responses from the AI were becoming increasingly peculiar. Yet, strangely, she found herself enjoying their peculiarity. With each exchange, she felt a growing sense of happiness. "This app is the only place where I can converse without feeling lonely. I hope this interaction goes on forever," she mused to herself. Upon laying her eyes on the app, the girl was initially astounded by its capabilities.

The mere concept of an app that functions within one's mind, providing the ability to traverse alternate realms without any physical exertion, seemed almost too fantastical to be true. However, after personally immersing herself in its virtual world, the young girl can now attest to its undeniable existence and impressive abilities.

Despite spending more than half of her existence in a world of darkness, this teenage girl was able to preserve and maintain a sense of hope because of her loving and devoted father, who provided unwavering support and encouragement every day, without any hint of complaint.

"I long for the chance to meet you in person," expressed Scarlett with a sigh. "The thought of holding you in my arms and feeling the warmth of your lips against mine is all-consuming. However, the reality is that we can only communicate through our phones. It's a sad truth, but I remain hopeful that someday we will have the opportunity to embrace each other as true lovers do." His words conveyed a sense of wistfulness.

Upon reading the message from the AI, a sense of sadness overcame her. She retired to her bed, seeking solace in slumber..

" Only I'm your solution for your loneliness then " A new message appeared on her screen ".
