5 4. The Arrival of the Beast

-Shigehiro Ogiwara POV-

After the finals of the national, Shigehiro decided to follow Agon, after his defeat at the hand of Teiko he was really ready to quit basketball altogether, he was grateful to Akon who despite everything encouraged him.

During the summer Ogiwara stayed with Agon and his family, and was introduced to Lily Kongo, Agon's mother. She was a beautiful woman who at first radiates a kind and caring aura, he was able to relax in her presence.

However when Agon mentioned that he wanted her to train Ogiwara, much to his surprise, her aura from the pink and warm homemaker into a hard spartan instructor, she forced him to drill everything from the basic as she trained him he was finally able to discover his specialty.

After training hard he rediscovered himself as a player, and he was grateful for the time he spent in the summer with Agon.

Thinking of this he remembers talking to Agon and talking about his plans after the summer.

"A..Agon…" he said through heavy breaths as he tries to recover from his latest drill.

Lying relaxed besides him watching the clouds with his signature dreadlocks and sunglasses, hearing his name he lazily opened one eye.

"Yo shiggy?" Agon answered slowly.

"Why... Senshinkan?" he asked the relaxed male.

Agon turned to him and with a sly smirk answered, " there are 3 reasons I chose that team."

Hearing this he struggled to sit up and stare at Agon, "really?" honestly a little surprised, as his new friend didn't seem like the type to think things through.

Agon resumed looking at the clouds as he spoke, "reason 1, among the schools it is one of the closest," hearing this Ogiwara could only think, that's really the only reason right?

Agon continued, "reason 2, it has a reputation of having one of the strongest teams in the region and is known as one of the three kings of tokyo along with two other schools…"

Nodding slowly Ogiwara asked after a while, "and what's the third reason?"

Hearing this question finally caused Agon to sit up and grin showing teeth, "Final reason? I heard they have an interesting training style that seems like fun."

Seeing his grin Ogiwara could not ask anymore questions as he felt chills down his spine, suddenly feeling dread at the thoughts of the future.

The Summer was now over, and Shigehiro was standing in front of Senshinkan high in his new school uniform as a freshman.

As he stood in front of the school he marvelled at the activity in front of the school, it seemed like every club was recruiting at full strength, looking around at the sea of students his only thoughts were, where is Agon?

As he stood alone and was wondering whether he should go in when suddenly he heard someone ask "are you going in?"

Turning he was forced to look down at the person speaking to him, it was a girl wearing the schools uniform, she was short and coupled with her beautiful western look she seemed like she would be called the cute imouto type, blonde hair and blue eyes with asian features she looked exotic.

She smiled brightly at him and said, "you are joining the Basketball team right? Should we go together?"

Shocked at the sudden question he simply responded by saying, "huh?"

Continuing to smile she dragged him over to the basketball club's booth, behind it were two average looking juniors and seeing them she said in a cheery upbeat manner, "Hi Senpai's I brought a new member to sign up!"

He watched still slightly dazed at being dragged here by this weird girl, and the two juniors looked at the bright girl with a blink before looking at him and asking, "that true? You want to join?"

Taken aback at the sudden question he responded in a hurry, "Eh? Ah...Yeah!"

Nodding the junior handed him a form to fill and seeing this the weird girl nodded and said, "I'm off sempai! See you later!"

One of the juniors nodded and the other replied with, "yeah see you!"

Ogiwara and the two juniors watched her dash of slightly dazed, the juniors turned to each other and one said, "by the way who was that?"

Hearing this Ogiwara turned to them and said, "Isn't she your manager?"

The two of them shook their heads and responded by saying, "we thought she was with you?"

Hearing this made him look at where the girl ran off too and thinking, what the hell was that?

-Agon POV-

Currently Agon stood in front of his new homeroom teacher, his face blank but inwardly amused by how terrified the man looked as he spoke to him.

"A...Agon, is there no way you can cut your hair?"

Hearing the question Agon bluntly replied, "No."

The staff room was tense and noone wanted to say anything, Agon was brought in to go over his speech in assembly as the top scorer in the schools entrance exam.

Despite his delinquent look Agon was a high IQ individual who excelled in his studies with as much ease as his skills as an athlete.

However it seems the visuals were too strong for the teachers to comprehend.

Suddenly the door opened and in a male roughly 6 ft 2 with wavy black hair and a rugged look, he wore a gym outfit and walked with his hands in a pocket.

Suddenly the teacher before him sighed and said, " Ah...Coach Mitsui! Come over I want to introduce you!"

Hearing him say this caused the newcomer to look there way before taking lax steps in their directions.

The teacher introduced them, "Agon, this is the coach of our basketball team Hisashi Mitsui, Coach Mitsui this is our schools top scorer Agon, seems like he is interested in joining the team."

Hearing this causes Coach Mitsui gaze to change as he assessed Agon, his eyes were studying him before nodding and said, "we will have our club entrance test tomorrow afternoon."

Hearing this caused Agon to smirk and he left the Staff room soon after.

-The Next Day-

-Ogiwara POV-

Ogiwara stood alone in the assembly hall as he half heartedly listened to the schools head teachers welcome speech, as his consciousness began to drift he was awoken abruptly once he heard the head teacher say "let us welcome the representative for your group, Agon Kongo"

Hearing the principal's announcement caused Ogiwara to start coughing in shock, he looked up alongside with the other freshman as they watched Agon, his tanned skin along with his patented dreadlocks and fierce gaze made him look like a delinquent.

From beside him he heard a familiar voice saying, "whoa i definitely didn't expect that."

Taking a quick glance Ogiwara saw a familiar pretty loli character, it was the western looking girl from yesterday she was watching Agon with wide eyed fascination.

All around him he could hear silent comments about Agon and how scary he looks, while a part of him was annoyed he couldn't deny that no matter how fierce he looked Agon was much scarier in reality.

Still he managed to hear Agon's speech as he said, "I can see in your eyes that you are all looking at me, making a judgement about me, you see my hair, my skin and in your mind you are thinking whoa… that dude is scary..."

Hearing this everyone was no longer whispering but paying close attention to him as he speaks, some people were even making faces of remorse, but Ogiwara can only hold his breath as he waited for Agon to continue.

Agon looked along the hall and continued, "...That's your intuitive instincts trying to protect you, I suggest you listen to it and stay out of my way, if you are brave enough to approach me I guess you are willing to gamble your life, If you catch me on a good day i'll ignore you, on a bad day i will just crush you, you have been warned."

Hearing the end of the speech there was silence, Ogiwara could only sigh as he thought, I should have expected as much,

Glancing to his left caused Ogiwara to lean away in shock as he saw the girl next to him.

The Blonde loli beside him at this point was watching Agon with an expression of worship as he heard her whisper, "So Cool..."

This caused Ogiwara to feel a chill run up his spine as he thought, as I thought this chick ain't normal.
