The Past and The Fire Part I
“Finally, everyone’s here.”
Lia’s tone was slightly exasperated as she spoke. It had taken her nearly ten minutes to wait for others to gather again in Arcadia. The latest person was Kokoro, who looked around and raised her brow.
“Wait. Jack hasn’t arrived yet, though?”
She asked with her arched brow. While it was true that it took her the longest to organize her deck before logging in, the British man still had yet to show his face.
Lia, who had been waiting for her, instantly shook her head.
“Jack has something else he has to do. He’s already headed out.”
“What?” Kokoro narrowed her eyes. “So he’s just ditching us?”
“Don’t worry. He’ll come back to help as quickly as possible once he completes his mission.”
Lia smiled as her eyes swept through her teammates who were now together in one place. The atmosphere felt slightly tenser than usual, even though Joke had calmed down a lot to the point that he could wait for everyone else to come.
