“Looks like you are not quite satisfied?”
“Sorry?”
He arched a brow at that remark.
“Your team’s situation is going exceedingly well, and it has gained enough success from the tournament. However, it’s still not enough for you, right? It is because you feel that way, so you decide to come out here alone.”
It was as if she could read his mind. Joke didn’t immediately answer. His arms that were resting on the railing were pulled together as he let his eyes wander.
“Maybe that's true, to an extent,” Joke said smilingly. “I just want to fight with all I have so that I can see how far my skill can take me. So, when Black Wizard did that to me, I can’t help but feel frustrated.”
Lia giggled upon hearing that. She leaned her back against the balcony rail while turning to give him a sweet smile.
“You both have the same bad habit.”
“Yes?” Joke was stunned by her words.
