“But waiting like this might be a bit too much…”
Though he had already decided to waste his time on something that might risk his entire future as a summoner, acting on that decision was not easy at all.
Currently, Joke’s tall figure was sitting at the same coffee shop in Siam that he had come to yesterday. His mind was set ready to react at any moment. Still, he had been stuck in this coffee shop for almost five hours already.
There were several pastries and coffee cups on the table. Joke couldn’t be sure anymore whether he would be able to sleep tonight, as he must have over-consumed the recommended amount of daily caffeine intake.
After a short while, he closed an English book he had bought that morning. This was probably the second book he had finished, all without anything happening at all.
