It was like Joke could know what Dani was going to say, so he interrupted. This caused Dani’s eyes to turn back glaring at him once again.
“In certain matters, asking for some help doesn’t make us any less, Dani. On the other hand, when you’re someone who people around are willing to help without expecting anything in return no matter what—I think that’s something precious that not everyone would be able to achieve. It shows how much you’ve done for those around you. Isn’t that true?”
Dani laughed gently. He was surprised to see a small smile revealing on Joke’s lips. Maybe it was this bespectacled man’s tone of voice and words that made Dani feel that there were many more sides of him. It was just that this bespectacled man mostly chose to express them in a lethargic manner.
