2 Second Meeting

Kevin still feels at home at Arka's Cafe. He is reluctant to go home because he feels lonely in his life because he has no friends when he is at home. His parents are busy working to take care of a shop in another city's Mall. Meanwhile, Kevin's younger brother is still studying at one of the well-known universities in the city of Jakarta. Kevin himself never met his brother because he always came home to his apartment. Because when he returned to the main house, he was always bombarded with the same questions. About when to get married? Where's your future wife? Introduce your mother to your future wife. And many more questions about marriage.

Actually, Kevin's family never judged that Kevin's future wife had to be at the same level or had a higher education, no. The most important thing for Kevin's mother is that Kevin's future wife must be good at taking care of her husband and willing to accept Kevin as he is even though he is no longer young. I didn't realize it was already 19:00. At Cafe Arka it was already looking crowded. A place to hang out for young people who have a lover or not. Because Arka's Cafe is very cozy and very comfortable. The cafe, which carries the 3D wall painting theme, is also a photo spot and is Instagramable. And of course in the cafe there is also a mini stage. So visitors are served by a singer who has a sweet voice every night.

Kevin, who was bored, finally looked happy when he heard a woman's voice singing. And Kevin followed the direction of the source of the voice, and his eyes widened in surprise when he realized who was singing. He didn't expect to meet such an annoying girl. The girl who dared to scold him this afternoon. Immediately Kevin became excited, he had a plan to take revenge on the girl. The sound of the song Fiersa Besari-Wrong Time was heard throughout the cafe room.

Don't ask how I feel If you can't even move on From the past that haunts you Because it really isn't fair I didn't mean to hurt you But it's not easy to forget The long story that I've been through Please just convince my doubts Just go away from me Let me kill feelings for you Even though it's hard to walk My heart is just not ready to hurt Give our story a little time The universe sent you to me We are the right feeling at the wrong time.

The song sounded very melodious in Kevin's ears. So he was amazed by the annoying girl. The girl looked very beautiful in Kevin's eyes. For some reason seeing the girl's smile made Kevin's heart skip a beat. He didn't know why he was like that. The only thing on his mind right now was to call the girl and want to repay her courage for calling out David this afternoon. The girl's name is Kayla, an 18 year old girl whose job is singing at Arka's Cafe for almost a month. Because he had just graduated from high school, he didn't have the money to continue his studies.

So he only relied on his golden voice to make money. Meanwhile, Kayla's parents work as food sellers on the side of the road. Snacks that are typical of the city of Jakarta, Kerak Telor and Laksa Betawi. And the shop is quite busy in the morning. Most of them are filled with boarding children who choose to have breakfast there rather than cook it themselves, to save time.

Kayla is an only child. His spoiled yet independent nature was well liked by his parents. Because she is an only child, Kayla is very pampered even though she comes from a simple family. When she finished singing, Kayla came down from the mini stage and walked over to the owner of the cafe in a room. Unbeknownst to him, someone was following him with a meaningful grin. Kayla, who felt that she was being followed, turned her body, and sure enough, the person who had annoyed her this afternoon was right in front of her right now. Kayla rolled her eyes and couldn't believe she'd ever see this person again.

"Uncle, why are you following me? Uncle wants to harm me, okay?" said Clara as she reflexively crossed her arms across her chest. Kevin who saw it immediately frowned in surprise.

"Why? Surprised, what do you think I want? Why are you covering your chest, don't be perverted, your mind is still small," said Kevin who felt funny with Kayla's behavior while flicking Kayla's forehead.

"It hurts, you know, who knows, omg, I want to see my chest, that's why I cover it. Yes, it's natural that I'm afraid. You're following me." Kayla said emotionally as she breathed heavily.

And Kevin widened his eyes sharply when he heard Kayla's frontal words.

"You're still small, don't think anything weird," cried Kevin.

"What kind of weird thing is that, I'm not a child. Even I can make a child," answered Kayla with a relaxed and innocent face. Kevin was immediately hot and cold when he heard Kayla's words just now. For some reason the girl's words were like an electric current that stung her body.

"You don't talk like that other than me. You might be used by people who have bad intentions," explained Kevin, who was surprised by the girl in front of him now. Why is it so shameless with absurd words?

"Yes, I like it, you weird old man," said Kayla. She walked into her boss room, Arka. Kevin felt awkward, because his intention was to prank the girl even though he couldn't say anything. What a strange girl.

Kevin also followed Kayla's steps into his friend's room. He immediately thought of nothing.

"Sorry sir, I'm sorry, i'm going home, i'm done singing." Kayla said goodbye to Arka who was checking his financial book.

Meanwhile, Kevin was standing in the doorway watching the two of them interact. Because every time she finished singing, Kayla had to meet Arka first to receive her payment for entertaining guests at the Cafe.

"Thanks, Kayla, because of you, my cafe is getting busier," said Arka, yes it is true. After Kayla sang there, Cafe Arka was not empty, there were always visitors who came, even if it was just to tempt Kayla to talk to. But Kayla never responded to the temptation. He only focuses on singing in order to make money. Every night Arka gave Kayla a hundred thousand as her singing fee.

Arka, who saw Kevin standing at the door, asked in surprise.

"Why are you standing there?" asked Arka and Kayla immediately turned to Kevin. He couldn't believe the old uncle was still following him.

"Uncle, why are you still following me? Or is it true that you have evil plans with me?" Kayla accused who felt annoyed that she had been followed from earlier.

"You know Kayla Vin?" asked Arka Kayla shook her head.

"Yes, this is the girl I told you about this afternoon who dared to confront me." Kevin answered, glancing at Kayla. Arka immediately laughed at Kevin's words. It turned out that Kayla had annoyed Kevin.

"Stop laughing at me," threatened Kevin.

"Oh, don't be angry, you'll get old quickly and when you're old, you'll be left with your wife and you'll be a scary widower," raved Clara at length.

Arka who heard it could not help but laugh. Kevin stepped forward to grab Kayla's hand. But this time Kevin lost again. Kayla immediately ran fast when Kevin was about to approach her.

"Shut up or not, you've been laughing so hard," said Kevin sullenly. And Arka  could only hold his stomach because he was laughing so hard that his eyes were watering.

"It turns out that you lost to Kayla. She's beautiful, there are lots of fans here. But you're a bitchy and mean girl, you don't know if you've been teased." Arka explained and that made Kevin even more curious about the girl named Kayla.
