After 2 months

Vashu laid comfortably in a man made pool made from herbs as he recovered after training. Jasmine who had been staying with him this whole time can't help but to feel amaze at his rapid growth.

In just two month he reached Nascent Profound Realm first stage from Elementary Profound Realm first stage. Although in earlier stages it's easier to reach next Realm but his speed really impressed her.

Jasmine came out and asked " What's your next plan "

"Nothing for now " Vashu replied while still closing his eyes " You have taught me Star God's Broken Shadow, how about I repay you with a gift " Vashu replied with a teasing tone in end.

In these past two months not only he improved his cultivation but he also learned Star God's Broken Shadow, after one week of practice he was able to form one after image, making Jasmine gasp again at his learning speed.

Jasmine was intrigued by the mention of gift, she would be lying if she said she wasn't interested. In these past two months her cold attitude was somewhat melted by his gentleness, she liked being pampered by him, she also remembered how would he feed her her favourite dish by his own hands.

" And what's my gift " Jasmine asked.

" It's a surprise " Vashu replied mysteriously, thinking how Jasmine would react after seeing his gift made a smile form on his face .

Now Jasmine was really frustrated, she tried many times to know what gift it was but to her dismay he just shrugged off and said wait for a while .

Meanwhile while during their conversation Vashu reached his room

Vashu entered room with his spare key, as sometimes when he returned Xiao Lingxi would be cultivating as to not disturb her cultivation he made a spare key. As expected Xiao Lingxi was still cultivating. After seeing speed of Vashu's cultivation she felt relieved that heavens has not forsaken them, now not only he can cultivate but also the speed which he cultivate put those so called geniuses to shame, she thought how wonderful would it be her father knew about this, this also led to her to cultivate diligently so that she wouldn't be a burden to him.

After sometime she opened her eyes and found Vashu staring at her.

" Pack up, we are going to leave tomorrow" Vashu spoke.

" Where are we going " Xiao Lingxi asked, she knew sooner or later they will be leaving, it's only a matter of time before they leave.

" New Moon City , there we will try to join some sect for resources" Vashu spoke , he knew there was still two months where in original timeline people from Burning Heaven Sect would come to slay dragon for their young master that would be his cue to take fire bead from there under their noses.

Still he wanted to go in city earlier to establish his foundations, that would be his first step to his goal.

Xiao Lingxi cultivation is at Nascent Profound Realm second stage, because Vashu didn't provide any pills for her while she was in Elementary Profound Realm because in this realm it's better to increase cultivation naturally to form solid foundation, after she entered at Nascent Profound Realm only then Vashu provided her some pills.

Still with their humble money he wasn't able to buy precious herbs but he soon will, he decided to use his identity of a Doctor to gain some money and connections.

Not only that he also started sparring with Xiao Lingxi on daily basis to improve her insight on fighting as increasing both cultivation and fighting insight at same time only a handful people will be able to defeat her, heck he was sure she will be able to fight above her level as well.

When he sparred with her he did with the intent to kill her, now this may sound crude but he knew he have to raise her instinct and to let her form and identify killing intent. So that in future she will be able to understand who is the one thinking of harming her by identifying source of killing intent or form killing intent of her own to intimidate her opponents.

Now who said that to sharp your senses you have to go out, he can still sharp her senses but the intent to put danger must be there in order to break their limits and reach their new potentials.

While few a days ago some bandits surrounded them to loot them, the highest cultivation of that group was second level of Nascent Profound Realm, Vashu decided to let Xiao Lingxi take down bandit leader, while he take other goons, as it was a good opportunity to let her experience real combat, and result was as he expected, bandit leader was defeated only after a few times, while their cultivation was same but her foundations were more solid and her mastery of fighting was more resulting in her easy win.

But being the kind hearted girl she was she chose to forgive him as he begged that he would change, Vashu didn't interfere in her decision as she have to find out herself that this world is more crueler than she thinks, as just they turned their backs, bandit leader attacked her from behind just as his blade was about to reach her Vashu stepped in and take blade in stead of her, this frightened her to core and she instantly beheaded bandit leader there. Looking the deep wound on his back she regretted her decision. Vashu slowly and calmly tried to calm her down only then she regained her wits, only then she understood to never forgive her enemies as giving them mercy could only bite you back.

Though he felt pain but it was nothing if he could teach her this lesson.

But this didn't mean that she lost her cheerfulness or her kindness she only forsake her naivety, other than that all was same, rarely they would make enemies as they were busy on their own lovey dovey world or cultivation.

Thus after getting injured Vashu was being pampered by her Little Aunt, which was really a bliss for him, he was pondering something for sometime. Seeing him pondering for a while Xiao Lingxi asked him

" What are you thinking about so deeply "

" Ah, I was thinking if I should get wounds on daily basis to get being pampered by you " Vashu spoke with a desire to be pampered. He thought being pampered was not bad now he realised why Jasmine always act spoiled.

Xiao Lingxi who heard him can't help but smile and thought how silly of him

" If you want being pampered, I will pamper you , just say so " Xiao Lingxi spoke tenderly as she recalled how he protected her just like when they were children.

As Vashu recalled these memories he said " Today I will Pamper you Little Aunt" . Vashu also want her to feel the same way he felt thus he obliged before they start their journey.

Vashu laid her back on his chest and after they comfortably settled, they cuddled with each other.
