CHAPTER 347: BUYING THE ESTATE
Zengeza Village
So much had happened in the previous months.
They sowed the seeds, cleared the weeds, the crops grew and harvest season arrived.
It was now in May, and the last session of harvest was ongoing.
The rain fell hard; the fields were drenched in water and the river even overflowed at some point.
Thankfully, all that didn't affect the fields very much but rather those who farmed had a great harvest.
They won't be suffering from hunger any time this year unless they sell their harvest to the merchants.
In Zengeza Village, at Ma Denis's house, they were busy sealing the sacks with dried corn.
With the bountiful harvest they did, they had excess grains. Rather than selling the excess, they preferred to store it in sacks, just like how they saw Madam Solace had been doing when she was still there.
As they sealed the sacks, the couple were with their children, and the atmosphere was very harmonious.
