Chapter 32 Don't let me down

"There's good news, and there's bad news," a hoarse male voice suddenly broke the silence. Ashliya instinctively looked towards the source of the voice and saw a dwarf with a weathered face walking in, his hands in his pockets, a casual smile on his face.

"Ahtal has appeared near the mine tunnel," the weathered dwarf scratched his head, sighing,

"Now we can concentrate all the force of the division to try to snatch back the Sword of Light, which is more reliable than hiring assassins over and over again."

Ashliya's eyes lit up, then she furrowed her brow and asked, "What's the bad news then?"

"The bad news is that we're surrounded," the weathered dwarf shrugged, "All the exits are blocked by the army of Gear City. Our division's strength is not enough to break through. We are now like a turtle trapped in a jar."

Ashliya: "..."

This was clearly them being ambushed by Ahtal, finding an opportunity to be surrounded, with no good news in sight.
