After The Wedding 2

I apologize in advance. It's a novel in my first English, so please understand if there are many errors in the writing or content of the story. #### Abandoned by her lover just before the wedding, July was shocked and fell in the hospital. Fortunately, all that didn't last long. The day after coming home from the hospital, July immediately tried to get rid of the bad memories with her bodyguard, David. Even though he had only been working for a month, but David always tried to obey his young lady well. Until one day, an incident that David had never thought of before came astonishing. July, yes ... July Agatha, proposed to David suddenly. David, who was surprised, of course, could not immediately give an answer. David already had a girlfriend, he couldn't possibly dare to make a love scandal with his young lady. It is also possible that July is just looking for an outlet. Or maybe ... Is there a secret behind it? Will it be love or is it just an outlet? ***

Chapter 12

"Where have you been, dear? Why are you just coming home? " Tesa asked when she passed July on the stairs.

"From uncle's house," answered July.

Pretty soon, David showed up. July goes up the steps while tesa comes down to David. Tesa knew, the length of the question, it wasn't necessarily July's answer. It's better to ask someone who does.

"Where were you just? July didn't ask for anything weird, did she? "Asked tesa. She has no doubt in his life. Whatever David will explain, of course she will believe.

"From my home, madam. July asked to see my father," said David.

It's just an o-shaped lip, nothing more to say. July is so familiar with the Tian. Tesa can't deny it. Silent, sensing how sorry she had been for not seeing her, now she had to endure the anxiety of July being more open with others.

"You're home? Where's July? "Asked Jordan suddenly. He put his arm around his wife with an eye fixed on David.

Before David could provide an answer, Tesa grabbed the husband's hand. Removing the hand that landed on his shoulder and then saying: "I go to my room. You guys just talk."

Her frowning face made Jordan's forehead look wrinkled. Looking back at the wife who eventually disappeared into the room, Jordan turned to look at David. "Is everything all right?"

Of course it's fine. - so what?

"Yes Sir, of course everything is fine," replied David. Almost David grinned because he was confused as well.

"DAVID!!!"

There was a loud cry from the second floor. A loud cry was made for a handsome man still standing in front of Jordan. The two seemed stunned. Even Jordan came to wipe his chest as he threw air from his mouth.

"I'll stay, Sir. "David bowed. After receiving a nod from Jordan, David immediately ran up the steps.

In this super spacious room, you can't see the messy atmosphere anymore. Earlier, when July entered it, some of the trash generated from the shredded photo albums was gone. Everything seems missing without a trace. It leaves only one medium-sized cardboard box which last night covered with adhesive.

July is sitting on the edge of the bed. Sitting with dangling legs rubbing the floor barefoot. The gaze turns to the curtain that is fluttering because of the wind. Daydreaming for a moment until David came to cast a shadow that was about to cross July's head.

"Miss called me?" David was standing in the doorway, which was wide open.

"Yes. Come here," commands July.

David shut the door. No meetings, only half closing to stay out of sight. David afraid there's something that July wants to talk about without anyone else knowing.

"What is it, miss? Is there anything I can do to help?"Instead of answering, July extends its arm with one index finger. David's eyeball then follows where the hand is pointing. David's gaze stopped right on a medium-sized cardboard box. A cardboard box filled with memories that July will annihilate.

"The cardboard?" David looked up in July.

July nodded. She had his hand drawn and was back on her lap. "Put that cardboard away. There cannot be any left."

David frowned. His gaze turned to look at the cardboard for a moment and then back again to see July. "Miss want me to burn down the cardboard?"

"Yes. Didn't I tell you already? Shall I repeat it?" July pout.

"R-right, miss. "David hurried to get the cardboard. Picked it up with both hands and took it out of July's room.

"What might it contain?" Curiosity came to David's mind. Shuddering rapidly, David then walked down the steps.

Arriving on the first floor, before entering the kitchen-right near the door-david stopped walking. He paused to hear someone talking in the kitchen. David had heard someone say his name, which is why David stopped.

"Miss July's boss, of course she's in charge." Ica speaks. Her two hands were busy scrubbing the still-moist dishes.

Grunting, Mara pulls up a chair and sits down. One leg folded up by landing on the back of the chair. "I just don't like to see miss July continue to be so close to David."

"Why?" Ica would toss her hands and then switch the tables. "Or do you really like David?"

"Eh! "David shuddered. The cardboard in his hand was about to collapse. Good thing David was still able to catch him, so the hideout was safe.

"I don't know. "Mara turned the body and turned her hands on the table. Folded hands to the chin.

"I thought a man as handsome as David must have found a lover. Don't you?"

Ica halted her activities and joined her in the empty seat next to mara. "I think so too. But I don't know." Her shoulders were raised with the palms of his hands pressing the air upward.

"Recently, after miss July's wedding failed, David became very attached to miss July. Isn't there something?"

"Something what?" Ica glared.

"Maybe miss July likes David."

BRAK!

David's hand-held box landed perfectly on the floor, leaving two girl in the kitchen and turning their heads. Both stood together seeking the origin of the voice. Look at each other for a moment, then walk together toward the curtains.

Slide down with one hand, and they both found David crouching down to bring the cardboard back up.

"Da-david? You -?"

"Since when are you here?"

It's probably just Mara who's nervous. If Ica, she looks completely normal when she faces David.

"What are you doing here?" Asked ica. With his grinning, David raised the carton higher. "I wanna burn this."

"What's that? "Ica asked again. Behind her back, Mara still stood still without daring to speak.

"I don't know. Miss July asked me to burn it."

"Oh." That's all ica would say.

"Well, I'll go to the back." David hurried away, passing by the two of them without a glance at the hid mara.

After David was invisible, mara hissed. Hits ica on the back until she turns ill.

"What are you doing ?!" grumbled Ica hit back. One clap of the lander on Mara's arm, made the girl grimace.

"Did David hear everything we said?" Mara was wary.

"Em -," fingering away at the chin. "I think so. "All at once, Ica's laughter gushed out, sending mara straight back with an eyeball.

"Shit! Shame on me." Mara cupped her face and ran toward the room.

As for ica, She still laughs. The next second, it stopped switching with a deep breath.

"Em! What could the box possibly contain?" Ica was even thinking about the cardboard earlier with David. "I was curious. "Ica throws a towel that has been held earlier and runs after David in the backyard.

All the way back, at a distance of about five meters, ica could see a smoke cloud coming from David's direction. Is it possible that David was burning the contents of the box? Curiosity soon moved ica to approach the crouching David.

"Are those miss July's memorabilia?" Asked ica.

David turned suddenly. "Ica? You here?"

Ica smiled. Observing the constant churn of the flame, ica asked again, "Did miss July ask you to burn all this?"

David nodded. Ica has no distractions. She was focused on a doll that had lost its head. Ica remembers exactly how happy miss July was when she got the doll.

Anyway, it's just in the past. Ica's just a little sad.
