David turned. He put his two legs up on the bed again, then tilted his body with one arm propped up. Another hand rubbed July's forehead, who was dunking her face on David's chest.
"I'll take a shower first," David whispered. "My body is full of sweat."
July didn't budge at all. She still buried her face and wrapped her arms around David's waist.
"Accompany me," said July again. "Do not leave me." The sentence no longer sounded soft but sounded hoarse.
July's voice seemed to be holding back tears. Suddenly, David could hear sobs. "Are you crying?" David immediately lifted July's head.
There were no tears on her face, only July's voice was a little hoarse. Her eyes were glassy, her face was sad.
"I'll take a shower first, then I'll come back and immediately accompany you to sleep. How?" David brushed July's red lips with his thumb.
