Chapter 15 Divorce
As soon as she said that, Skyler became sullen.
"Do you know what you're talking about, Piper?"
Piper found that it was not as difficult as she had imagined. On the contrary, Piper felt relieved. She leaned slightly against the stool and relaxed.
She was not born to like chasing others. She had pride and self-esteem.
It was not that she didn't have expectations for Skyler, but the last bit of expectation disappeared after seeing the report about Marina in the hospital that day.
"I know." Piper nodded slightly. Her tone and expression had changed, and she was no longer as obedient to Skyler as before. Now her position with Skyler seemed to have completely changed, and Skyler became the one who was uneasy.
