After I found out I couldn't use magic, I asked Slphia to teach me magic, and she gave me a spell book with hundreds of spells in it.
Slphia said that there were two conditions for using magic. The first was to memorize the incantations needed for the spell and the second was to imagine. The more powerful a person's imagination, the more powerful the spell they use.
Having watched a lot of fantasy movies and anime in my previous life, it was very simple for me to imagine. Even if it didn't seem like it, as someone who went to middle school and high school, I knew how fire or water existed.
And that's where the whole problem started. As I read the incantation, I closed my eyes and imagined hydrogen reaching the temperature of ignition and then coming into contact with oxygen. When I opened my eyes again, there was a ball of fire floating in front of my hand, even though I hadn't even read halfway through the words of the low-level spell Fireball.
Of course, because I was scared at that moment, the flame instantly made a small explosion, causing my hand to burn slightly. I could use magic. According to Slphia, I shouldn't be able to use magic without the blessing of the church, but I could. Maybe the system had regulated my mana veins while increasing my magical affinity, or maybe I had been born with mana veins in good shape since birth.
This time I started reading the incantation without closing my eyes and at the same time I imagined the same thing as before. A small flame started to float in front of my hand and I could hardly stop myself from screaming with excitement.
As soon as the small flame appeared, I continued reading the incantation. The incantations ended after a while, but the flame floating in front of my hand did not dissipate. I could feel the shape of the flame as clearly as if I was holding it in my hand and I could shape it as I wanted.
As I continued to recite the incantation I could feel an energy in my body slowly leaving my body and merging into a ball of flame. With a little theory forming in my mind I released the spell and it struck the trunk of a tree some distance away from me and created a small explosion.
I started to cast the same spell again, but this time I imagined my mana moving as I cast it and I didn't recite any incantations.
I screamed with joy as I looked at the ball of flame floating in front of my hand. I couldn't even suppress my own excitement anymore, even Slphia read the incantation while using magic, but I had already made a fireball without reading the incantation with just a few attempts.
After celebrating my own ability for a few minutes, I started to use the other spells in the magic book with a strange excitement inside me
I first used a water cannon of the same level as the fireball and after the fifth attempt I managed to leave the incantation. I learned a few more spells until I lost my excitement
After learning about ten low-level elemental spells, there were no elemental spells left in the book. When I looked at the rest of the spells, I realized that they were all strange.
After hesitantly muttering the words of a spell called flower field, the snow under the tree in the direction of my outstretched hand split open to reveal small white flowers
Surprised, I read the names of the spells in the book and checked if there were any interesting spells. After a while I managed to find the kind of spell I was looking for, a spell for protection from the cold - heat shield.
"Kami ni kansha shimasu, hi no megami sorona wa, kono samui hibi ni watashitachi o hitori ni shimasendeshita. Mori, atatame, katachi o totonoe, yawarakaku shi, samu-sa to tatakai, watashi o kakomi, watashi o mamotte kureru hi
Heat shield!!! "
This time the mana in my body left my body not through my hand, but everywhere at the same time, creating an orange shield around me. As the snow inside the shield slowly melted, I felt like I was under the summer sun.
Even after I took off the thick jacket I was wearing, it felt extremely hot inside the shield, I closed my eyes and focused on the mana flowing from my body to the shield and wanted to reduce the amount a little bit, but before I could reduce the amount, I witnessed the mana in my body completely depleted
As the heat shield broke, the cold air began to attack my sweaty body mercilessly. praying to the goddesses of this world that the abilities given by the system would not work with mana, I placed my right hand on myself and activated my storage space ability
The snowy world around me suddenly disappeared and I was greeted by a landscape of endless flat land stretching into infinity
After throwing my spell book in a random corner, I picked up the towel lying on the floor a little away from me and started wiping the sweat off my body.
* coughing sound * * sniffling sound *
"Ahhhh fuck. I'm already sick, I have to go to my master before I go home. I left the house telling my mom I was going to see my master. She might suspect me if I come back sick."

Before I could read the text on the system screen, a book appeared in the air and I reflexively caught it in mid-air
After reading the system screen, I tilted my head and read the inscriptions on the swordsmanship book between my hands.

After flipping through the book with the cool title a few times, I threw it behind me and left my storage area. Who wants to dedicate their life to swordsmanship when they can be a wizard who can cast cool spells. Besides, I still have a main task to do.
