His hands were clenched tightly into fists, a bitter taste rising to his throat, his heart tearing and sinking downwards. His feet subconsciously wanted to chase after her, but he commanded himself not to move.
Gantang's eyes were red as she paused at the door, hoping to hear him call out to stop her.
Just like the last time she wanted to leave, and he held her tightly, refusing to let her go.
But he didn't.
