Chapter87: grand wedding.

When Alex and I got in the car I looked at him waiting for something. I want to hear him say something. Anything.

"What is it baby?"he asked bringing me to his laps. His dark circles were still visible but they have reduced a little.

"I don't know what to say."I said because I just want him to say something to me.

"Maybe that you will kiss me. I haven't kissed you for a while."he shamelessly said and I looked at Jaden who had his attention on the road. I looked at Alex again and I saw him smirking. He knows what he's doing. He raised his eyebrows at me and I smiled. I Leaned towards him and our lips met. I kissed him but it was only for a few seconds. He groaned unpleased and I smiled.

"Not in the car."I told him and I leaned my head on his chest. I relaxed for a second but then I remembered something. I jerked my head up and I looked at him.

"Your dad. What will we tell him. We lied we are married so what will....."

"He knows we are not married."Alex said and I looked at him surprised.

"You told him we are not?"I asked him.

"I didn't have to but I didn't tell him. He's smart he can figure things out easily."Alex replied.

"Why didn't he expose me then if he knew the truth?"I asked Alex.

"Because he likes you. He likes playing games. Anyway don't think about it so much."he said bringing his hands on my waist and he put his head on his favourite position. My boobs."I love you so much."he said and I smiled. I brought my hands in his hair and started running my hands on his thick strands of hair.

"I love you too. I didn't expect for you to propose like that. I was really shocked. You surprise me Alex."I told him and I heard him chuckle.

"I'm glad I can surprise you. I have been walking with that ring for a while. I bought it in China. I really wanted to try my lack everyday but yesterday I did it the wrong  way. For that I'll forever be sorry."he said and I couldn't be more happy.

"I'm so happy Alex. I have never felt this happy in my life."I told him and he looked up at me.

"I'm happy too. So happy that you can't even imagine. The woman I love has accepted to marry me. I don't know what you want now. Do you want a grand wedding or what. I will give you everything, anything."he said and I didn't even know what I wanted.

"What do you want?"I asked him.

"To marry you today at the marriage bureau. That's what I want."he said and I smiled.

"Then let's do that."I said and he smiled too.

"Woow..this is really happening."he said but it was more like to himself.

Alex's phone rung and he took it and answered it."hello dad?"he said. It's his dad."yeah we are on our way. Yeah wait for us for two minutes."he said and I looked out and that's when I realized that the car was in a stationary motion. When did we stop? I looked at Jaden then I got out of Alex's laps and he didn't stop me. He hung his phone up then I looked at him then at Jaden.

" I think we are here. We've been here for a while. Why didn't you say anything Jaden?"I asked Jaden who looked at Alex nervously.

"Let's go baby. Jaden here has a long story to tell me later."Alex said and he got out of the car then he turned around and opened the other side of the door and I got out taking his hand. 

He took me inside of the hotel but something was strange. People kept staring at me or us or maybe Alex. He's really hansmdsome and of course he would attract attention. I walked closely with Alex who looked down at me and asked what is wrong.

"Alex, people are staring at you."I told him and he chuckled.

"Relax baby they are just staring. Nothing is wrong. You see how handsome I am and how beautiful you are, people are gonna stare of course."he said and he kissed my forehead and then he slid his hands on my waist and we walked in the hotel.

Alex led me to the table where we found his dad already sitted and on his phone."what took you so long guys."he asked still on his phone.

""Needed to take care for some important things."Alex replied pulling a chair for me and I sat down. He then sat next to me and we looked at his dad who has not looked at us."is there something wrong?"Alex asked.

"You proposed to your wife?"he asked and I looked at him nervously. I thought Alex said that his dad knows we were lying. I looked at Alex but I was met with a smirking Alex. Is he serious now.

"Cut the crap dad, you know the truth so stop playing the game and let's eat."Alex said and called for a waiter to take our orders. This is really awkward.

"You could have said something Like heey dad, I got myself a girlfriend. Even before today. Does Melissa know about this? Wait does your mom knows about it too?"his dad asked glaring at Alex.

"Only Melissa."Alex replied shortly like he was dismissing the story. His dad smiled when he heard that and the reason, he didn't say. This family is really weird.

"You do know you are in the news right?"he said and my heart stopped for a second. What news. I looked at him then at Alex who was looking at his dad curious." You didn't expect that the news of the infamous Alexander Scott proposing in public to be blown away by the wind just like nothing right?"his dad asked raising his brows at Alex.

"But not many people know me. That's impossible. There were no reporters and it was just a random place."Alex said and his dad chuckled.

"Is that what you keep telling yourself. There are curious people who are curious about you Alex. They have been for so long and some know you and they think that sharing your story can make them some cash. You can't be that naive right? Welcome to reality son."his dad said laughing. I am still not getting it right but I know we are on the news. According to the looks the people were giving us, it must be true. I looked at Alex waiting for him to speak but he didn't. He just stood up and and took his phone out.

"Baby, order anything you want and stay here with dad. I'll be back."he said then he kissed my forehead.

"What about you?"I asked concerned.

"I'm good just be a good girl."he said and I held his hand.

"If you leave right now you're not going back to work. You are going home to rest. I can't let you be like this. You look tired Alex please take things easy. Don't make worry so much."I told him firmly so that he doesn't argue with me.

"Okay baby. I'll be back. I love you."he kissed my forehead again and he left. I looked at his dad who was looking at me smiling."what?"I asked him.

"You love my son so much don't you?"he asked and I laughed shyly.

"Yeah. So much."I replied and he nodded. He didn't ask about why I lied to him. I hope he doesn't ask because I won't have an answer. The waiter brought the food together with Alex's that I told him to put it there even if he's not eating. I'm really worried about him. He does so much and he should take some rest.

"What do you think Alex is going to do?"I asked his dad.

"I don't know. Maybe suppress the news but what's done is done. He thinks just because he doesn't appear in the limelight people don't know him but he's so wrong. Those reporters are thirsty for information and anything even if it's a rumour is so useful. They have been so quiet maybe they were waiting for something big to happen and since they have found a start up they are not gonna stop. Be prepared."he said and I sighed. This is bad. I really hate being on the limelight." You'll have to be used to people staring like those who are staring right now."he said and I looked at the direction he was pointing at and found people staring at me or maybe at us. 

Damnit. I looked down immideately at the food I was eating. Alex's dad chuckled but he looked not bothered at all. I sighed and continued eating because I wanted my attention to be on this food and not worry that people are staring.
