Chapter 009, Addicted in One Night?

The sales associate added, "The only Mr. Song I know of is just the one from Jinxi Mall, but since the black card is only held by a very few people, there's still a chance we can find out the owner!"

Weilan paused for a brief moment, then quickly made her way over.

At that moment, Song Di seemed to sense something, and with a turn, he saw Shen Weilan.

Song Di was startled and thought to himself, why has she come back again?

Shen Weilan walked up to Song Di with a hint of inquiry in her eyes.

A charming smile immediately bloomed on Song Di's face as he said, "Sister-in-law, why have you returned?"

Shen Weilan looked at him, extending her hand with the cufflink lying in her palm, shining dazzlingly under the boutique's lights. "Do you recognize this item?"

Song Di was taken aback but still maintained his jovial demeanor, "This is a cufflink, sold by this particular boutique, isn't it? What about it, sister-in-law?"

He appeared completely normal, but the sentence Shen Weilan had just heard felt strange to her.

"What I mean is, do you know if anyone else around you uses this cufflink?" Weilan really wanted to know if Song Di was aware of the news concerning Lu Hechen's accident.

If Song Di knew, it wouldn't matter what she said;

If Song Di didn't know, then she would have to be extremely careful with her words.

Song Di's gaze met Weilan's eyes, and after two seconds of looking at each other, he nonchalantly shook his head: "This, I have really not seen before!"

Shen Weilan nodded, "Alright, Mr. Song, if you have business, please go ahead!"

"Sister-in-law, I'm not busy!" said Song Di.

Shen Weilan replied, "Then, you can go. You're not busy, but I am."

Song Di was momentarily startled, then let out a chuckle, nodding, "Alright, I'll be going first!"

Song Di quickly left the boutique but did not go far; instead, he hid in a dark corner to observe.

Shen Weilan approached the saleswoman once more, speaking in a low voice, "Miss, what do I need to do for you to tell me the owner of that black card?"

The saleswoman, not expecting Shen Weilan to come back, politely shook her head, "Madam, I'm sorry, it's against our policy, I cannot disclose the customer's privacy!"

"I can give you a tip!" said Shen Weilan in a soft voice, "Name your price, and you can tell me!"

"I'm sorry, madam!" the saleswoman shook her head. "I really can't say it!"

Shen Weilan's eyes flickered with thought, then she asked, "What you were discussing with Mr. Song earlier, was it about this black card?"

The saleswoman paused and stayed silent.

Recalling what she had just overheard and seeing the saleswoman's reaction, Shen Weilan's eyes showed a trace of hesitation as she asked, "Did Mr. Song tell you anything specifically?"

When questioned this way, the saleswoman's eyes revealed a moment of panic.

Weilan pressed on, "Did he tell you not to reveal the black card's owner, right?"

The saleswoman, having seen Shen Weilan talking with Song Di and knowing they were acquainted, naturally didn't dare to go against Song Di's instructions. However, the forcefulness of Shen Weilan's questioning made the saleswoman quite nervous!

On the outside, Song Di was a bit surprised; his eyes moved slightly, recognizing that Shen Weilan was no simple young girl!

Despite her youth, she was proposing extravagant conditions, and she was very rational in investigating the owner of the cufflink. Up to this point, she remained calm!

Song Di could not help but view Shen Weilan in a new light!

He picked up his phone and dialed Lu Hechen's number, "Hechen, the wife the Lu Family found for you is much stronger than Shen Lu!"

A lazy voice came from the other end, "Oh?"

"Shen Weilan is a very smart woman!" Song Di chuckled, "I'm already looking forward to the days ahead. It's going to be interesting!"

From the other end came a moment of contemplation, and a decision was made, "Letting her suspect something isn't a bad idea, release a little bit of information to her."

"You mean, you want to be open about it in front of her?" Song Di processed the thought, "Could it be that you've become addicted after one night and want to come over every night?"

"Do you have a problem with that?"

"No!" Song Di immediately responded, "You're legally married now, sleeping together isn't anyone's concern!"

"Vulgar," Lu Hechen replied with two words and hung up the call.

Song Di smirked with a hint of amusement. Turning around, he saw Shen Weilan standing right behind him, silent as a shadow, her face seemingly not looking too well.

"Sister-in-law?"

"Mr. Song, who were you calling?"
