Chapter 12 : DEVELOPMENT

There is no continent that came to this world developed, There is No country that came to this world in a big way, Every country developed with time And Every country is still developing, It is all matter of time.

Africa will have greater developments in all ramifications tomorrow if they can be allowed to harness all her resources into beautifying the lives of her people.

Africa wasn't born in bondage, Africa was born Free from all forms of evil, but a greater evil befell her and took her pride and shine away.

Just as humans are not born grown up but as babies that will definitely grow up with time so is Africa also growing up just like other countries.

Although Africa is growing up in her greatest adversity, "Colonialism" but one day soon Africa will over grown her biggest challenges with time.

There is no better place you would rather grow up from than in the hands of your true parents and your true families, it is a greater privilege, Africa needs to develop herself for herself, Africa needs to be set free from her biggest challenges to excavate the evil that has landed upon her,

"The best gift ever is family" And that's the only development that can last forever. No matter what, "family stays" Africa is one family, One people just different languages.

The worst development ever is colonialism because it has lasted more than any other things.

Africa as one great family can do better than other nations, The united States of Africa is possible and better and it's also a positive development to Africa.

Development is a specified state of growth or advancement in all ramifications, It could be in technology,It could be in infrastructures, It could be mentally or physically or biologically

Development is new and advanced product or idea that should better the lives of people and domestic animals around.

Development is an event constituting a new stage in a changing situation that could either make the lives of people better or Mal their lives. Just like colonialism changed the lives of Africans negatively.

Development is defined as the process of growth or new information or an event that should inspire and motivate lives instead of destroy and mislead lives, An example of development is the changing of a caterpillar to a butterfly. An example of development is emerging details about a local robbery. An example of development is a community of condos intended for seniors.

An example of development is using Africans as slaves, An example of development is Colonizing people unjustly and forcing them to abandon their way of life and embrace yours.

A good example of development is aiming to kill all the Biafran people in 1967 to 1970 to take over their land and forcefully bend them to remain slaves.

According to English dictionary they are different kinds of developments and they are, Complying development, non complying development and Merit

Complying development; is one which is listed in the Development Plan or specified in the Development Regulations 1993 complying.

Complying development will generally only have a low level of impact on the surrounding area.

Planning authority cannot withhold approval for complying developments.

What is Non-Complying development?

Non-Complying developments are listed in the Development Plan and are land uses which are not envisaged or encouraged within a particular area.

These uses will generally be inconsistent

with the objectives and principles of the zone or policy area that they are in, for example industrial developments in a residential zone or a new high rise building in a heritage policy area.

Non-Complying development is not usually approved

unless it is a special circumstance.

What is Merit development?

Merit development is development that is

categorized as neither Complying or Non-Complying as stated in the Development Plan,

Development Act 1993 and Development Regulations 1993. Merit development must be individually assessed on its merit having regard to the policies in the Development Plan.

To me I'd say that development can be characterized in different forms like Social development,Mental development, Skills development, Religious development and Academic development.(Wisdom Ndukwe)

Social development is the enhancement of freedom to relate with other people positively maybe as a leader, maybe as a follower without causing any harm or damages with your privileges ( Wisdom Ndukwe)

Mental development is the Phycological exposure and maturity of the human brains to accumulate as much as the world can give, The ability to contain any human reasoning and understanding the settings of the world (Wisdom Ndukwe)

Skills development is the improvement of acquisition and achieving greater and better levels through self talents,in other words "God's gift" (Wisdom Ndukwe)

Religious development is the improvement in Religious ethics and mode of worship to draw closer to God the creator. furthermore, abandoning your normal mode of worship and tenets is also a development but a negative one, just like the ones that occurred to Africa.(Wisdom Ndukwe)

Academic development is the enhancement of studies in life and acquiring more levels of knowledge maybe in technology, maybe about nature or it could be about God's plan, just like His plans on setting Africa free the bondage of colonialism one day soon.

Africa should have had better developments on its own by now, Africa would have developed more better than what it is today if there was nothing like slavery, colonialism or democracy.

Africans had their ways of selecting a leader for themselves, Before it was the gods that will select the rightful one to lead her people until colonialism came and gave rooms for criminals to emerge winners of Africa's leadership.

Meanwhile it was all the duty of our colonial masters to bring us to nothing, They destabilized our strength for choosing rightful leaders so that they can put their monitor there.

The colonial developments of Africa affected her rule of leadership negatively, "Not everyone deserves power" that is why the world began as a monarchical world

Ethiopians never believed in Colonialism and they stood against it because they knew it was a devilish purpose, they never allowed the colonial world to take away their pride and dignity, they maintained their strength and their beauty till today.

Even the England that colonized many countries never allowed the development to affect her rule of leadership negatively that is why theere
