Chapter One

She sighed and turned over in her bed, pulling her pillow onto her face and exhaling. She did NOT want to get out of bed but she did anyway, quickly throwing on whatever was on top of her clothing drawer, grabbing her skateboard and backpack, making her way out of her room and the house ignoring everything in her way. Once outside, kicking her skateboard under her feet and pushing off, skating towards where she knee her friends would be, outside the school house, skipping class. Quickly, as she had a skateboard, she was there almost as soon as she left, stopping on the side of the building and next to her friends she kicked the board out from under her feet and into her hands. "Hey, do we plan on doing anything today or are we going to class?" she asked getting a hum from Tom, a short(ish) boy with black hair and glasses, hoodie and jeans. "I don't know, did you plan anything Alex?" He turned towards her, as she shook her head turning towards their other friend, Lily, a petite girl with blonde hair pulled into pigtails behind her head and a dress to match it. Lily hummed and looked away as we thought, "I guess we just go to class today." she stated, "but that's boring, we've done that all week." Tom objected, "I know but we DO need to learn SOMETHING and today the teacher was supposed to give us some sort of 'surpirse", Lily responded ending her sentence in air quotes. Tom huffed and then made his way inside, both me and Lily following afterwards.
