In the middle of their break, Mikhail asked Zio to cut some herbs and skin the fowl which they catch along the way. Meanwhile, he tends to the horse, giving them the water that they took from the river prior to their stop. But a problem arises when the horses keep trying to chew Mikhail’s hair, until one point he jumped back and nudged Zio who was skinning and cutting up their games.
“ Ouch! What’s wrong with you?! ” Yelled Zio as his knife was thrown off to the ground.
“ It wasn’t me! It was these horses! They keep chewing my hair! ”
Zio then stands up to calm the horses after letting out a tick of a tongue. He strokes their necks and noses with Mikhail behind him, trying to learn from him how to handle the four-legged mammal. He then led them back to the carriage, accompanying them to graze.
“ You’re good at this, Zio. Where did you learn from? ”
“ Hm. This much is nothing, I used to graze almost forty of them. ”
“ ...Wow. That’s new to me. ”
