Aegis stood in the crowd as he and all his family watched Winters post-graduation speech.

It newer struck Aegis just how the time flows, he still clearly remembers his first day on this world, and now already seventeen years flew like the wind.

"And most, I want to thank my little brother Aegis who in my place took the duty of leading both Schnee family and SDC, truly there isn't big sister who would be more proud."

Said Winter as she looked at Aegis with a gentle smile, and the crowd just applauded.

And now that Winter finally ended her studies, there was nothing that was stopping Aegis from enacting his plans...

Aegis wanted to wait for Winter's graduation, as he wanted her to have good memories of it, and now that's done, Aegis was ready.

Aegis smiled at Winter with all his family there to support her, but where this happy occasion was taking place, there were moments through the entire Atlas and Solitas continent.

In Atlas, numerous families were visited and transported to the safety of SDC walls, on Solitas borders, detection sensors were build, SPCS forces were already on the move as both air and ground forces were mobilized.

Aegis's plan was simple, he would quarantine the entire Solitas continent, with CCTS cut out of Remnant network and his forces on borders to not let anybody in or out, Aegis would have time to both seize power and stabilize his position without anybody capable of sticking nose into it.

And at the same time Aegis readied the process of transporting CCTS functions into his satellites, thus completely abandoning the slow and inefficient CCTS system.

Aegis was sure Ozpin or others would try something, but their problem was that even if they wanted to send help to Atlas council, they couldn't, they lacked what Atlas had, a proper Army...

Yes they could send their huntsmen, but Aegis already spoke with Salem and asked her to migrate more Grimms into three kingdoms, thus making sure all huntsmen are very busy in the coming months.

Of course, he asked Salem to just use her Grimm for scaring them, after all Aegis didn't want to hurt his potential future citizens.

Still, that should make other kingdoms very hard-pressed from trying to help Atlas, or try to shove discord into his ranks.

Aegis was aware even Ironwood was already on the move, both of them were transporting families of their personnel to safety, and it was like there was an unsaid rule between them, no matter what happens, the civilians are out of the game.

Aegis was satisfied with such a thing, after all, no matter who wins, both of them wished to leave civilians out of it.

Even Atlas council, who normally would be completely blind until Ironwood wouldn't inform them started to feel a storm brewing, Aegis already sabotaged numerous tries of running from Atlas for three councils.

"So, how do you want to celebrate your graduation?"

Aegis asked Winter after she came to him with a gentle smile on her face.

"You will see tonight."

Winter said and gave Aegis a peck on the lips.

Tonight? Aegis, though, that would hamper some of his plans, but...

As Aegis looked at his regal-looking big sister he couldn't help but smile, yes no matter, any of plans on world domination could wait when confronted by the needs of his family.

"Ok, so what if we all celebrate in Suez family restaurant? I already booked the entire floor for us."

Aegis said with a smile as he could see multiple eyes lit up in excitement, Suez wasn't any rich restaurant, no in truth it was somewhere in the middle of the ladder, but somehow his sisters come to like their food and environment that just creamed about being family-friendly.

Aegis and others slowly made their way to Suez restaurant, and as they walked, Winter come to Aegis's side as she intertwined their hands and smiled at Aegis, who smiled back.

"So, now that you are out of school, did you think about what you wish to do?"

Asked Aegis and Winter hummed.

"Hmmm, not practically, normally I would join the army... But I know you are planning something, so I will wait until you would tell me what."

Winter said and Aegis nodded with his head, it was no secret what Aegis planned, at least for those who asked around in his family, but it was not surprising that Winter, Willow and others who were more good aligned chose to ignore signs and whispers, they were just too good, and they and others knew that truth would just bring complicated feelings to them, so they chose by the deaf to it, and others chose to not speak about it around them.

And as they spoke Aegis get the first message, a report of now destroyed Atlas military facility under SPCS forces.

Already first signs of battle could be seen, and as forces battled, the civilians who were more alert found out that their connection to others CCTS towers was cut off under the pretense of maintenance.

The normal populace was still unaware of these happenings, Aegis gave a general chance to fight back by not simply killing him, as final respect to loyal general of now almost dead kingdom.

"Kill them!"

Called out Systra a local SPCS general, as he observed a battle between SPCS forces and Atlas soldiers and mechs that were being overwritten and either deactivate or send after their previous masters.

"General! We have incoming!"

Called out one of SPCS soldiers.

"Reinformence left flank! Order airships to focus on that complex walls!"

Ordered Systra as he watched another Bastion droid being overwritten and used against Atlas soldiers.

"Grimm incoming!"

"Che"

Systra said as he watched a horde of Grimm being lured out by negative emotions born from battle, even without Queen, they still are nothing more than animals ruled by their instincts, instincts that seemed to overrule their orders from Salem to not attack...

"Eradicate them! I want all artillery to focus its fire on the Grimm!"

"Sir Yes Sir!"

Salem was watching the happenings from her room in Schnee mansion as she used the eyes of Grimms to let her see the current situation, she watched how one of the most powerful kingdoms fallen, and not to her, no...

They have fallen to their own...

What irony...

Still, Salem finds it, saddening, which surprised even her, after all not a long ago she still wished to eradicate entire humanity, but now?

Now she felt pitty when she saw another of Aegis people being slain...

Truly that boy grows on her more than she thought he could...

"Hmmm?!"

Salem sat in alarm as she sensed something.

"That bastard should still sleep... Ah, it seems the negative emotions were truly too much for them to not wake up."

Salem said as she watched one of the oldest Grimm that still remembered the time of God's awakening from their slumber.

"This could lead to the problem..."

Salem mumbled as she was unable to control these beasts that evolved their own sapience...

"But, better now than later, at least like this Aegis wouldn't need to worry about them awakening in worse times..."

Salem said as she sighed as she felt another unsuccessful mind probe into ancient Grimm.

"I need to contact Aegis..."
