79 Meeting

Aegis stood on the balcony as he enjoyed the clear air just outside of the throne room where he let Salem gather her thoughts in peace, after telling Salem the plan Aegis had in case of gods returning and giving her scroll with plans and goals, Aegis left her to think in peace as he himself had things to think about.

And as Aegis watched his fleet that calmly floated in the skies just outside of Salems castle, he looked past them to see the broken moon, the testament of gods cruelty and pettiness intensified...

And as Aegis looked at the broken moon in deep thoughts about the future, he could feel a familiar presence in his back that was coming closer to him.

Aegis slowly turned around and warmly smiled as his eyes showed both confusion and sadness, but at the same time, there was a tiny flame of hope inside the cold blue eyes...

"Hello, sister."

Aegis said to the woman in red dress with long black silky hair and eyes of the purest amber that showed anger and confusion before the woman's eyes glazed as if she was sucked deep into her own mind.

Cinder, who after awakening from another nightmare, awakened into sight of seeing airship fleet just outside of the castle, quickly waking up her companion/lover Emerald she clothed herself in a hurry as her mind thought about possible scenarios, the most feared was Atlas attacking her mistress, but then her logical mind took control of her emotion-driven fear, and she looked on the ships, they weren't the sleek and fragile looking ship that Atlas liked to flaunt with.

These ships truly made Cinder shudder, they still had the sleek design of Atlas but looked more primal, more dangerous than any ship Cinder ever saw, but the thing that made Cinder truly stop was that in the place where Atlas sign should be was snowflake symbol, the same symbol that SDC and Schnee family used.

"He is there."

Cinder whispered to herself as she dazedly looked at the dangerous-looking ships.

"He is truly there..."

Cinder said and for the moment, there was a faint smile on her face that changed into a frown and then a deep scowl.

"HE IS THERE."

Cinder repeated with anger that drove all the fear away and she marched outside of her room to meet her mistress and the boy because of who she even forgotten how calm sleep even feels, a boy that made her mind spin in confusion born from anger and sadness.

Cinder hurriedly walked to her destination with confused and nervous Emerald behind her, but just as they reached the throne rooms doors, Cinder looked at the balcony that was beside it, on it stood a man clothed in a long white cloak with snowflake symbols, his black hair was faintly fluttering in the night air, the moment Cinder saw the man backs she frozen, just to slowly see how the man turned to face her, sporting the same face that haunted her in dreams, the same face that brought innumerable pain and regret into her heart.

"Hello, sister."

The moment he spoke all of the Cinder emotions gone into haywire, anger, pain, regret, sadness, LOVE...

And at that moment, Cinder remembered, entire life that until now gave her nothing more than nightmares and little glimpses, played before her eyes fully, letting Cinder know her biggest regret.

There was once Ancient and Noble House of Fall, old and prominent family that traveled from Europe to America as one of the first magical families to ever reach the new world, years flowed and the Fall family decreased in numbers, wealth, and prominence, the Fall family fallen so low that the current head of family used his eldest daughter as a bargaining chip for the hope of regaining their lost wealth, so desperate was the head of the family that he sold his eldest child future to cruel and horrible man just for a chance with minimal success.

Of course, the eldest daughter was against such a deal, she researched the man she was supposed to marry, and with each find, she grew more and more desperate as it painted the cruelest vision for her future.

The eldest daughter no older than fourteen years old tried everything, she pleaded with her parents who were deaf to her pleas, she tried to run, even take her own life, all the while cursing the unfairness of the world, she was the eldest child yet she was to be sold just because she was woman, all the while her younger brother would inherit the family...

The marriage was taking place in Fall mansion, home of the Fall family, a place where the girl who accepted her fate was living until now, a place where she for months preparing for her revenge.

As the guest arrived and just waited for the bride to arrive, there was panic as one of the guests saw one of the most horrible spells to consume the walls of the room...

The fiendfire consumed everything in its path, the guest and families of grooms tried to flee, just to found that all locks were locked, they tried to apparate, or to destroy the walls, for nothing as the fiendfire consumed them alive, the more intelligent ones waited in the back as the fiendfire consume wall, giving them ample of room to fly through it to safety.

Just for them to be shot down, be a laughing girl in bride dress, and as the girl was deranged laughing completely out of her mind, she didn't see survivor to aim his wand on her back.

"SECTUMSEMPRA!"

He cried out to the dying wizard as he watched his spell near the mass killer, just for a young boy to shield the girl and to get hit to be the vile curse.

"What?!"

Cinder asked in shock as her senses started to coming back, just in time seeing her younger brother's body falling to the ground.

Cinder quickly caught the burned body of her brother, that was now dying from being burnt from fiendfire and the curse, Cinder quickly sends cutting curse at the man who died with his head severed, Cinder looked at her younger brother who she in her deranged state even forgot that would be at the ceremonial, even if he was just burned from the fiendfire he would survive as the Fall bloodline magic gave them extraordinary talent and resistance to fire, even magical one.

But Cinder knew she couldn't save him both from the fire and curse, all she could do was to hold a dying body of hers little brother who even through it all helped her as he promised...

And that was how one of the most dangerous and evilest Dark Lady the last of Fall family was born, in the fire that she cast, that devoured both hers enemies and loved one at the same time, Cinder knew that she was the one to blame, just if she explained her plan to her little brother before, just if she asked him to be with her outside of the house, but fate was cruel to her, and in her state, she was blind to everything...

In her long life, she was feared as the evilest necromancer to be ever born, but just a small number of people knew the true reason of Dark Lady of Fire and Death dabbling into necromancy and death, for where others saw a cruel woman with no respect for deceased, was a girl in the body of woman dying to just for last time to see her little brother who died because of hers action...

"Aeg..."

Cinder whispered as she awakened from her vision, what felt like an eternity for Cinder was just mere seconds for others, and Cinder moved slowly towards Aegis who watched her with curious eyes.

"My, Aeg, my little fire..."

Cinder whispered as tears streamed from her face as she runs towards Aegis who had a strange urge to just embrace the crying woman as his own eyes became wet.

"Aeg, Aeg, Aeg!!! My little fire! Finally...!"

Cinder said as she hugged Aegis and pressed his head deep into her cleavage, crying as she embraced the body of her little brother, no longer was it a dying body, no this Aegis was alive and healthy...

"Aeg, don't leave, don't ever again leave me..."

Cinder said again and again as she sobbed into Aegis's hair.

"Never leave me again, my little fire."

Cinder said, and for the first time in both of her lifetimes, she felt finally at peace...
