Joke aside

"You three need to go home now. It's getting late" said Karol as she turns toward the triplets.

"Why? It's still early right? Try to look at your phone" said Nic while pointing at Karol's sling bag.

"What time is your curfew? Is it the same 10 pm?" asked Christine.

"It's still 8 pm not even 10 pm chill Karol. Wait until 9.30 pm then we all go back home k" said Nat as she takes a bite of her corndog.

"No, you three can't be out for long. I've promised to send you back. So listen to me guys" reply Karol.

"Eee, chill Karol still early. The night is still young" said Nic while sipping her soft drink.

"Yes, Karol chill we still got time. Let's enjoy our night first then we rush back home before 10 pm" add Christine

As soon as Christine said those words all three of them fully turn facing Karol.

"Lol, her before 10 pm will get us all grounded by Karol's mother," said Nat as she rolls her eyes towards Christine.

"And it'll be either 10.01 or 10.02 pm once we reach our house and this best friend of ours will drive like we are shooting a fast and furious scene" snort Nic as she looks at Karol.

Karol snorted while rolling her eyes because they know her like at the back of their hands. The triplets were laughing at their deduction which is a 100% accurate. Leaving Karol wanting to smack their head for making fun of her.

"Let's have fun shall we," said Nat while finishing her corndog and pointing at the haunted house near them.

"Noooo," said Karol in an exaggeration tone while dragging the 'o' sound while looking at the triplets as if they're nuts for saying that.

"Hell no! Not with you three we've been bound before. Just thinking about it makes me want to hang myself" add Karol.

"First off you three are a scaredy-cat. Remember that one time where I beg you three to accompany me at the UK Haunted House and after that, you three have nightmares for 2 nights straight while forcing yourself sleeping with me at my if I may add and insist on having a slumber party while all of you are just a scaredy-cat not wanting to sleep at your bedroom" said Karol while looking at the hands folded.

"Well that's because no one wants to accompany you into that haunted house and we are the nearest to you at that time like you drag all 3 of us and force us against our will to joint you" replied Nat.

"And not to forget someone said it's not that scary. Just remember that they're human too who dress up as ghost trying to scare us" add Nic as she rolls her eye.

"Or they only scream and make scary noise without touching you. You can scream at their ears if you're scared and they'll back off which is not true at all" add Christine as she side-eyeing Karol.

"Which remind me why aren't you three sleep at each other place? Like if you're scared then sleep with each other in a single room why it has to be my room?" ask Karol in a curious tone.

"Well, we all are as you said a scaredy-cat can't stay in the same room cause we all scared what if something pops up out from the closet or knocking at the window? Who's gonna go and check it out if no one dares to move that's why we have a slumber party at your room" explain Nat while nodding her head towards Nic and Christine as if confirming it.

"Okay, okay. Sorry geez didn't know that you'll be on it continuously until now. Are a scaredy-cat" said Karol in a teasing tone.

"Okay joke aside, three have to listen to me, please. Let's go now, okay. Listen, we will come here again okay? But for now please just go home. I'm dead tired and I need to rest" add Karol as she looks dead into their eyes not in a teasing tone anymore. Indicate she wants them to do exactly what she asks them too.

"Fine, okay. Let's go home" said all 3 of them knowing that Karol won't back off when she set her mind onto something.

All 4 of them walking further away from the amusement park towards the main entrance at the South main gate. As they walk further into the path towards what's look like a small city from afar Christine begin to question Karol.

Where are we going?" asked Christine.

"Home" reply Karol in a short answer.

The quadruplets continue walking while having chitchat along the way. Then all of the sudden Nic look around and asked.

"Ermm guys, why does "home" look like we are in a tunnel?" asked Nic in a doubtful tone.

"Guys, I'm scared. I don't feel good now" said Nat as she looks at her surroundings.

"Let's continue walking k," said Karol as she pulls Nic and Nat's hands.

"Karol, don't play with us," said Christine in a non-jokingly tone.

"Karol where the hell are we heading?" asked Nic and Nat unison.

All 4 of them stop dead on their track as they fully turn towards Karol. They look at her in a gesture where their eyes are half-closed with creases on the forehead and some tension in the muscles around the eyes expressions made when they doubt something.

"All will be revealed my aegies (babies). Don't worry okay. All will be okay" said Karol in a calm manner.

Spilling the truth now will bring disaster for all of them so Karol decided not to tell anything until the times come then all shall be revealed by its own.

"You better tell us right now. What is going on" said Christine as she becomes impatient.

"Guys, we are literally at the centre of the tunnel" inform Nat.

"I don't like this. Not a single bit" add Nic.
