The Earth, The Town, and The Girl

Gaea was my friend. We played since the dawn of time. She had blue hair like the sea and pale skin. Her face was one of a beauty and her smiles lit up the void. A caring and genuine individual who never made me sad.

We had to part. The end was coming. Bitter, red, and destructive a calamity for this universe. We left with haste however spacial currents tore our hands away from each other. I briefly saw her destination as I was falling in power and to another world. Make no mistake I would become powerful adventuring through wherever I ended up and find her.

My vision cleared up as I appeared to be in a small town. A dusty cloud and dirt crater gave warning to those that resided as humans started appearing walking from their homes.

"Are you okay?" asked a girl in panic. She was quite tall at around 190 cm red crimson hair that was new to me. Her face appeared to be scarred with a gash above her left eye.

"I am fine, thank you for worrying about me my name is John miss..." I replied in a couple of seconds.

"Um... My name is Adelinde Avarilla nice to meet you John but, are you really sure that you are okay?" insisted the still panicked girl.

"Yes, though may I ask exactly where are we?" I inquired curiously.

"Quite the fall you had losing your knowledge of your location. This town is called Prexing Falls and we are in the Ogote kingdom which is a vassal of the Fabihn Empire." explained Adelinde clearly.

I thought for a while and decided to be shameless. "Miss Adelinde may I please stay with you for a couple of days until I have my bearings and so that I may survive?" Clearly flustered, the maiden brought me by hand quickly into her medium sized house of an made from an unkown material which appeared to have wooden furnishings, metal pots, pans, and lamps on the inside.

"Of course you may but, do realize I do not have the best reputation in town." warned Adelinde once we were in her room.

I thanked her profusely before retiring for the night in a comfy bed in the next room over. Though then, a sudden pause hung in the air as I let out tears and fell into unconsciousness in exhaustion.

The next morning I was awoken with several pats to my shoulder. "John get up please." Adelinde appeared to be frowning observing my face and her eyebrows were knit. I struggled for a moment before pushing off with my arms and turned to face her.

"Yes, did you need something Miss Adelinde?" speaking in a questioning tone I said.

"No need to call me miss John, and you appear to be troubled can I help you?" she said with an anxious tone.

"I... I can't really confide with you right now Adelinde... sorry." I stated troubled and hesitant.
