Chapter60: After The Guild Master

[ to think that he would throw me off like that... ]

After realizing what just happened, I stood up and washed off the few small pieces of bricks and glasses on top of my head and my clothes. People on the road are looking at me but I just ignored them and continued fixing myself up.

It seems like the guild master has the strength comparable to Jacked Jack-san, maybe that's why he also said that he actually considers him his rival.

But to think that I would actually let my guard down to someone who said that he would kill me a few dozens of times already, I might've actually died if I do that again...

After finishing cleaning my self up, I went inside the guild again to get Alice.

[ o-onii-chan!? ] Alice immediately saw me the moment I arrived at the front door, her face has both the looks of surprise and worry.

The other adventurers also stared at me with their looks that seem to be asking what just happened to me.

Not minding the atmosphere, Alice came running towards me.

[ wha-what happened, onii-chan!? are you okay? ] Alice asked with a worried look.

[ I'm fine, I'm fine, I guess I just pissed off the guild master a little... but everything else is fine I guess... ]

I don't know why, but I felt that everybody at the guild just gulped all at the same time when they heard the word "guild master" came out of my mouth.

[ then how did you end up outside of the guild, onii-chan...? ]

[ anyway, we're done here, let's go outside and leave now. ]

I never thought that my meeting with the guild master would be over so fast but I'm glad it did.

I took Alice's small hand and finally faced the door to exit.

I can finally relax and have a date with Alice after that stressful meeting with the guild master...

Staring at the hole that what just made moments ago, the guild master walked towards it.

It seems that Katherine's intuitions were true about that guy...

From what I have observed from spying him with all kinds of ways, he is surely how Yugo and Jacked Jack has described him.

He's clearly strong, but he never showed arrogance. It also seems like he honestly didn't know how Jacked Jack was that of a big deal...

While still looking at the hole on the wall, the door opened and Derrick came inside.

[ how was it? ] Derrick asked.

And now, Alice and I are walking on the streets near Marinda-san's Inn.

[ Onii-chan? where are you planning to go? ] Asked Alice with an empty look on her face.

I wonder what is her problem now...

I'm sure there is something...

[ well, we don't have anything to do now so... how about we go back to the Inn and rest? ]

[ ...but... ] Alice muttered in as she started to fidget.

I did promise her that we'll go outside after I finish doing my business at the guild...

But I'm currently too tired right now... and my face still frickin' hurts...
