Chapter 5: Mysterious Gate

It's already been a several hours since Lu Feng entered the cave, but the cave seems to be never ending.

Lu Feng feels dizzy and his body becoming heavy resulting in difficult walking.

He gritted his teeth and continued to walk through will power.

After more than 4 hours Lu Feng finally reached the dead end.

There he found a very large gate. Lu Feng frowned and thought that gate was very old.

What is even more amusing was that there is thick smoke coming out of the gaps gate.

Lu Feng could sense powerful divine energy behind that door.

He looked at gate for few seconds before going near the gate to touch it with his hand.

*BOOM*

*WISSSS*

As soon as Lu Feng touched the gate there came a boom sound and white smoke came out rapidly with speed from the gaps.

*CREAKE*

Lu Fend got starteld and moved away from the door as the started opening with creak sounds.

As soon as door started opening smoke running outside rapidly.

Lu Feng couldn't see inside because thick smoke covering.

After few minutes the smoke got cleared slightly. Lu Fend could see inside and got blinded by its shining light coming from the inside.

Covering his eyes he dragged his tired body to go inside the gate.

Lu Feng got stunned as soon as he got inside the gate. Inside has only one big hall ,a very big hall like it was palace Court hall.

Everything inside made of golden crystal. Walls ,ground and even the roof.

Lu Feng observed the big hall looking around here and there.

Some distance away from, at the centre of hall he saw a huge rectangular box.

Lu Feng squinted his eyes to see that object more clearly from his position. But he couldn't see well enough.

Taking a deep sigh, Lu Feng moved in the direction of that box with hesitation.

When he came near box , Lu Feng could see that it was a big coffin. The coffin made of a see through golden crystal.

Lu Feng went to see if any body is there in the coffin.

In the coffin a man was lying with his hands on his chest. His hair is so long, face was very pale and its devoid of any wrinkles and there's no sign of aging on that face. The man was very imposing even though he was clearly dead.

Lu Feng felt goosebumps as soon as he saw the man's face. Even though he is not a cultivator,but he could tell from his near death experiences that the man inside the coffin was must be a very dangerous person.

Lu Feng never felt this type aura from anyone. He doubt that even those four most power clans of azure province wouldn't stand a chance against this man.

Lu Feng gasping heavily because of aura of the man inside the coffin. Yes, he is a dead man. But he couldn't help but be afraid of this man.

" haaa...haaa , haaa... who in world is he ? He is so imposing even though he's dead. Judging from the gate appearance and scriptures of this hall room, I could tell this is a very old tomb." Lu Feng muttered with heavy breathing trying to calm his breath.

" Wait.. if this tomb is so old then how come the body is still in good shape? Shouldn't it be decayed ages ago?.

Well I'll observe more to find out more clues." Said Lu Feng.

He keenly observed the coffin and the man inside it. Looking at his appearance Lu feng could tell that the man must have died in his mid thirties. But how the hell this powerful individual died.

After searching for and looking at the coffin several minutes, Lu Feng found a name written in an ancient language.

But Lu Feng has abundance of book knowledge as he got no talent in martial cultivation he concentrated in developing his knowledge and intelligence skills. So he knows the name written in an ancient language.

" Damn!! It is a very ancient language which is not from this era at all. It is a very very very very old Language.

Phew luckily I immersed myself in books. So let's see..

Hmm...dra..g..on..hmm dragon em.mp...error. ..long .l.in.

Ha right.. so it's 'Dragon emperor Long Lin' ha." Lu Feng read the inscriptions with difficulty.

"Strange, I never heard of his name before in history before. And what's with the dragon emperor. Are there even dragon in the world. Aren't they are mythological beasts?." Lu feng Wondered about the man.

Again another doubt came in his mind.

"Seriously who is able to kill this person who is so powerfull himself? Must be power individual to be able to ki--

"There's no one in this world to lay a finger on Dragon emperor."

As Lu Feng was muttering himself he suddenly got interrupted by a unknown voice which scared the shit out of him.

"Wh...who is t..there?, who are you, come out now ?." Lu Feng shouted with a quivering voice to the unknown voice.

Everything became silent as there was no reply from that unknown voice.

And it only made Lu Feng more sweat buckets because of silence of death.

As Lu Feng thought that he'd die of this suffocating silence he heard the voice saying...
