1 The Beginning

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Monday afternoon 5 pm. There was a young boy practicing his sword skills. His hair was pure black, his eyes were as dark as tree bark, and his body gleaming with sweat was built well. This young man's name was Gold.

Gold:

Age: 16

Height: 183cm

Weight: 200lbs

Appearance: Pure black hair, dark brown eyes, and his body was built well with muscle.

Summary: Gold is an orphan. When he was a child his parents sacrificed themselves to save the kingdom when there was a massive monster horde. Gold grew up with only his adoptive mother and his only friend Snow.

As Gold was practicing he realized he had a breakthrough. "I finally finished the last level of the 10 Levels of a Beginner Swordsman!" Gold was ecstatic and celebrated his increase of strength. After celebrating he heard the words "Gold!! You better get your ass over here now!!"

Gold looked over a saw his adoptive mother staring at him with a death piercing gaze.

"Yes mother ." Gold said as running to her as fast as he could so he would not get a beating.

Athena:

Age: Don't ask.

Weight: Do you want to die?

Height 173 cm

Appearance: She is very beautiful. She has her hair in a side braid with a messy bun, her eyes are sea green, and she had sharp facial features. Her figure was a full hour glass shape, the type to make you turn your head when she walks by.

Summary: Athena is Gold's adoptive mother. She may seem mean and strict but she is really caring and is willing to sacrifice everything for Gold.

"Didn't I tell you to plan and decorate for Snow's 16th birthday party. She did yours by herself."

Snow:

Age 15 (almost 16)

Height 166 cm

Weight: You never ask women

Appearance: She has black silky hair that goes down to her waist. She has beautiful sky blue eyes and her figure is average.

Summary: Snow was Gold's one and only best friend he had while growing up. She is his personal servant who played with him and did everything together as children. She is the only person Gold trusted besides his adoptive mother.

"Ok mother I will go start planning her birthday and go back to practicing." He then ran off to go plan Snow's party.

Athena sighed and shook her head " All this boy does is train. But at least he will pick up a habit of training no matter the condition."

Monday night 9 pm in a room that was decorated very badly. The room had random decorations hanging up with the words "Happy 16th Birthday Snow". On the walls there were rubber ducks and cucumbers. Sticks were hung by string from the ceiling. The tables were covered with a table wrap that had cockroaches on it as a design.

"I'm finally done setting up. All I got to do is wait for tomorrow"

Gold walked up to Athena and said he was done.

"Mother I'm finished decorating and planning Snow's birthday. Now I'm going to go practice."

"Ok goodnight"

As Gold was leaving Athena thought to herself "Wait isn't Gold really bad at decorating."

She ran to the decorated room cursing and praying that the room wasn't to bad. As she opened the door her mouth dropped.

"Weeeeelllllll Sh*t."

This is my first novel, so don't judge me.

I am writing this novel in my spare time so there will be few chapters. My word count may not be high, but I will try my best to make them have a decent amount of words.

Also please go ahead and give me some pointers or advice if you want to. They would be very appreciated :).
