Escaping from the lunatic tribes, Lusina successfully fled with the help of Mika's horse. Feeling guilty and sad, Lusina traveled not quite far from the camp, pursuing to find Sougo by herself.

Before she stumbled across a footstep, fire smoke coming out from afar caught her attention. Presuming it was Sougo based on the wet fresh footsteps, Lusina trusted and risked her decision to try and see.

After she climbed up to see who was behind the campfire smoke, she immediately recognized that it was Sougo by his figure. He was badly wounded and in dire need of rest, so he was lying down on the cold rock. Not a second before she landed one footstep, Sougo became alert.

Despite being sick, his guard was always up from morning until night. Lusina was frightened and hid behind a boulder as a result of her fear of Sougo.

Soon after, Sougo began to recognize her and surmised accurately that she was the girl hiding beneath the robes. Sougo's body began staggering as a result of drawing his blade. His breath became uncontrollable and his vision was all fuzzy. No matter how strong he was, he needed to recover.

"M-mister... please don't be alarmed, I'll heal you..." Lusina carefully showed herself after she hid and aid the sickened Sougo.

Sougo was feverish because of the cold and his recovery was disturbed by moving too much, weakening his immune system.

Sougo laid down whilst Lusina healed him with her magic. Her hands brimmed with green light as she placed her hands above Sougo's body. Sougo could feel a slight relief after her healing was successful. The excruciating pain gradually diminished and he was starting to feel nothing at all.

His healing process was accelerated by the incisions on his chest and the ointment Mika provided him. Even Lusina was taken aback by the medicine that saved Sougo from dying. While Lusina was patching up Sougo, she explained the whole story of what happened.

Sougo was eventually able to retain his balance and get back up without even the tiniest pain when the healing was successful. Sougo never understood why he was here and simply awoke in the middle of strangeness. Magic, enigmatic beings, strange knowledge, and more.

Sougo started to stand up and demanded that Lusina divulge all of her knowledge of this world. Sougo began by enquiring as to whether this was his native Japan. Lusina wore a bewildered look and wasn't sure what Sougo was referring to. Then, when Sougo enquired as to if this was Earth, she tilted her head and responded, "no."

Then... how come could she speak the language and understand what Sougo was saying, was what Sougo wondered. Turned out, it was an official language from their ancestors that was still used until this era. Some speak an even more advanced language, but some speak based on their regions.

'Strange... if they can fluently speak my language, could it be that my answer lies from their ancestor? Could it be that the ancestor is the key to me being here?' Inside Sougo's head was filled with questions he had yet to unravel.

It was unknown how he survived the crash and spawned here.

Right after standing up in a fully recovered state, Sougo continued walking. He faced in the direction where the Lusina came from since he knew it was Mika's horse that made her escape.

"No, wait! Mika has told me that I must guide you to leave as far as we can! I won't let his effort to save me be left in vain." Lusina made an effort to stop Sougo at once from pursuing the tribe's whereabouts. Although she was distraught about what would happen to Mika, she took his word to protect Sougo to leave.

Sougo didn't give a damn to listen. His walk carried on and ignored her.

"Please, you will only make things worse... why won't you listen to me...? I know that he's in danger but he saved my life and I must save yours as he said I must!" Her weak arms and grips were outclassed by Sougo's body which only dragged her not him.

Sougo eventually came to a stop at that point and started moving oppositely, as if he had forgotten something.

In search of something, Sougo jumped to the ground and went in the direction of the woods. Lusina also jumped to the ground as she caught up to Sougo.

The moment Lusina managed to catch up, she saw Sougo rubbing a tree. To learn more about the wood, he used his middle knuckle to rap on the enormous blue-lighting leaf tree. When he was finished, he took a stance, flipped the grip on the katana, and took a slow breath.

He split the wood in half while moving as swiftly as the wind through it. The tree fell and the light from the leaf turned off.

When Lusina noticed what he was doing, she became confused. Sougo was effortlessly cutting the tree into little logs without exertion or the use of powerful tools like an axe.

He took hold of one of the logs and divided it into tiny, pointy pieces. Then, after making tens of sharp, pointy pieces of wood, he immediately began harvesting vine. After gathering the plant fiber, numerous strands are twisted together to create a stronger, more resilient material.

"What're you making?" Lusina questioned Sougo's actions because she had no idea what he was up to.

He finished and fashioned a bow out of a fair-sized flexible piece of wood. Once it was done, he used feathers from the back of the arrow together with light-weight, sharp stones on the tip to transform some of the sharp, pointy wood into an arrow.

"You were making a bow and arrow?!" Lusina was flabbergasted after she now knew what he was after.

"Young lady, I do not force you to come with me. He saved my life when I needed aid. Do not worry, I will be back as soon as I'm finished dealing with them." Sougo spoke for the first time to Lusina and promised that he would come back after he was done dealing with the tribes.

"..." Lusina instantly went silent.

"No... Not just you whom he saved, but me as well. I want to return the favor, so please, let me aid you... If you're so sure we can do this, then let me join you..." She let out a defeated sigh and decided to join Sougo.

"Well said. Come, there is no time to stand around for." Finished with everything he needed, Sougo rushed to save Mika with the help of Lusina.

"Right!" Both Lusina and Sougo took off using Mika's horse and follow the previous trail after Lusina eluded.
